uninstall 1.4, install 1.5 turn it off via the ALP options menu until it's removed then turn it on.

you also need to install the lib scripts linked in the FP

Just installed 1.5 for the first time, and went over to watch the peaceful Boron curbstop a Teladi sector during an invasion. Both RRF fleets arrived, the Boron Rays blew up a trade station and then everyone killed their engines and sat there. Both sides, all fighting ceased. Regular ships continued on their gate routes as normal. Are random ceasefires like this supposed to happen?

I'm not sure why I am getting this 'error'. I've used the search and went through every page in this topic to no avail.

After I enable the plugin, it has me go through the different menus and I set them up the way I want. I've tried different combos to see if I could troubleshoot and it hasn't worked. What flashes at the bottom of the screen in the 'black line' is this:

RRF has not setup as your sector has too many Big Ship, rescan in 3 miz.

Wording might not be exact, but its pretty close to that. So, uhm, what? This started happening after I stopped the plugin and restarted it. I was/am having some of the RRF ships show up as orange in the sector map ship list. I'm not sure why they are. I do have adv sats in all the plot sectors I've been sent to, in addition to one teladi sector that I haven't been sent to but went into accidentally and just said screw it, putting a sat in it. How do I fix the Big Ship error and why are some of the ships showing orange to me (don't even know what that means) Only the RRF ships are showing orange and the other ships in the same sector, same race aren't.

I don't own or haven't claimed any sectors yet, either.

None of the RRF ships I've come across in various sectors are moving whatsoever, but I do see the invasions happening. When I am IS and there are xenon or khaak the RRF ships do not chase them at all, they just sit there, but they will FIRE on enemy ships if they approach.

I'm not running any scripts besides mars, NPC bail, salvage claim, and factory complex creator.

You must have debugging on. Those arent anything you should be worried about. Just go through the options again and turn off debugging.

updated to 1.51 (first post links)

ceasefires fixed

RRF ships are coded to stay put until they find an enemy, this is for both CPU load and also to negate the Empire's Carbon Footprint :)

uninstall 1.5 if you used the exe and install 1.51

there is no need to do anything else

If I installed with the RAR version, should I uninstall 1.5 then do 1.51? Or just patch over?

I have seen the same with 1.5 as some earlier poster, military ships (not tagged RRF though, but I've seen this only after installing RRF) not moving at all, but they will fire on enemies that I lured to them...

I see the Races take over sectors, is it possible for the Player to take over sectors in this script?? If not, what would one need to change to allow that??

Just because no one yet has said so, I took a quick look at 1.51 before taking the game down for a restart, and the problem with stalled ships *was* fixed.

Thanks!

Every RRF ship I saw in previous scripts never chased enemies, they fired from where they were stopped only when enemies came near. Thats been fixed now?
