Alright, I'm still having problems and it doesn't make much sense. On a fresh install, I updated to 2.5 and then installed the bonus pack. I played the game yesterday. I shut down and reloaded and played it again yesterday. I checked to see if I could uninstall the bonus pack and it would let me although I didn't uninstall it. Today, I try to play and it crashes. When I tried to uninstall the bonus pack it says that the file unins000.msg is missing. Something is screwy...I'm going to do another fresh install and not install the bonus pack...

To save time downloading every byte all over again, you can use the Bittorrent download option and tell it to save the download file (NOT the bittorrent description file!) to the location of your earlier download. The bittorrent downloader will scan the download, find any corrupt bits and download just those bits.

Also, have you removed all scripts and/or mods? It mmight be an idea to create a new X3 installation from disk, patch it (BEFORE running it), then add the bonus pack.

Hi everyone,

I am new at playing x3.

I am currently playing a vanilla 2.5 x3 without BP.
I'm at approx. 7 game days.

Can I install the BP and continue playing my current game or do I have to restart ?

Short yes. There should not be any issues. Just install the BP and resume your game.

I have a problem with the commercial rep script, went to the script topic but it is now locked.

I bought the 2.0 version + bonus pack of X3

When i set my ships on commercial representation they work for a while, and then they end up just sat at my station doing nothing whilst my station runs out of goods, they seem to still sell, but refuse to buy.

I first noticed this with a Silicon mine, but the same has been happening with bogas, bofu, wheat and other stations...

please help as the 'buy at best' and 'sell at best' have no form of defence/fleeing orders...

In the station properties, is the jump range for the resource less than the max jump setting?

yup, they all run fine if i use station manager...commercial representation just seems to get bored...lol..

Did you update to version 2.5? It's highly recommended that you do. Not sure if that will fix your particular problem, but it does resolve a number of other issues.

The 'Game of the Year' version of X-3 has a bonus pack:

'Includes the full game plus the bonus pack Bala Gi's Research Missions'.

Is this the pack that this thread is referring to? The quote is from Play.com and the edition is X3: Reunion 2.0 (Game of the Year Edition).

This is not 'a' script, this is a collection of signed scripts. Due to those being signed, you don't get a ***modified*** in your statistics.

The game says 'X3 Renunion 2.0', doesn't that mean it comes with the 2.0 patch?

Edit: My demo has stopped working now, tried reinstalling it and everything. Oh well, I've seen and heard enough to convince me to get the game.

Well I'm not trying to state the obvious but, if it says 2.0, well my guess is, it is.

I was just trying to explain that the Bonus Pack (this topic) has nothing to do with Bala Gi.

So I'm having a bit of a problem...

I purchased the game on Valve's Steam console, so I never got a CD and thus no CD key. Sadly, I can't download this pack because I haven't (and can't) register my game. What can I do?

You don't need to register. All you need is a forum account, which obviously, if you're posting here, you already have. Just login and download.

Is there any reason why, after ensuring 100% that i have all the correct software installed and requirments met that i STILL cannot find the command 'Attack rocks' and 'collect astronauts'?

And the group management commands? Non existent.......

edit: there is no section 'general' etc...

I have the bonus pack installed as i bought the 2.0.02 GOTY w/ Bala Gi Research missions editon.....
