you can't compare scale by what they carry. Put the Super Frieghter 1.6km away from you, and tell me how big it is. It will be the same size as displayed in the image. I assure you, the sizing is correct.
Edit: Or are you saying the cargo's should carry less, or the TL should carry more.

A few suggestions from me:
* For the capital ships document/image - perhaps add a bit of space between the races so it doesn't become too cluttered ?
Personally I'd rather have a "spacy" image that has to be scrolled a bit more when viewed, than a "non-spacy" image.
* Adjust the text for A4 printing ?
I just printed the image to an A4 paper and can't read the text.
*Based on the goal of the project, adapt the layout when the time comes, for either viewing or printing ? like with page title and such ?
If you go the printing way, I'd suggest making the capital ship image big enough for 2 A4-pages, or 2 images converted into 1 pdf-file of 2 pages.
For a title, I took the liberty of whipping up a suggestion that I'll PM to you in a second scoochy.
Again I think it looks very very nice already, great work !

Alot of reduction would be in order to fit on A4 paper (8.5*11 for people who don't know)
Currently the image is 26 inches long and 46 inches wide.
I understand that not everyone has a Kinkos type printer in their living room. I will resize the pic, and also change the txt for who ever would like to print it out on Standard paper.

any chance of having a falcon vanguard (pirate) included? maybe a buzzard which is like a baby version of the falcon also. If not no worrys, would be cool though as we all go after pirates alot

I'ts me again......
Just had a startling revelation as to why certain ships might look slightly off/blurred when compared to others......
The ambient light of the sector's are different so the images may look slightly different also.
If you found the best system lighting and then did all of the shots there they would all have a uniform lighting upon them.
See the Split cap ships if you don't get what i'm talking about.
Just a thought....

i fly the argon M1 and that long thing is niether a gun or a launch bay. it is more like an extention to the engins. the ship does go about 2X as fast as the M2.
as far as lighting goes most of the ships were done in one sector least the teladi and argon since i took those.
im also doing all the other pics that will be added. but it may take me some time since im having some really long days at work.
like scoochy said none were added tonight mostly cause i had a 11 hour split day thats i came to work at 5 am worked till 9 am went home slept came back 5 pm worked till 12:30 am. going back to work 9:45 am. so not much i can do but sleep and work for a few days here but i will start to get all the fighters. (excluding variants unless by huge popular demand) that is all pirate teladi boron argon split paranid yaki and earth fleet. i also gave scoochy the khaak destroyer but since it is so small and it has big rotating dagers the picture has some of the dagger thingys cut off the top and bottom so dont know what will become of that. i believe i got all the cap ships cept the boron TL. if you guys can think of one not on the page let me know. and i will get that in ASAP.
scoochy i may see you on MSN 12\8\05 after 5pm YOUR TIME. so be looking if your home yourself.
also general public forum peps. for the larger file that is compressed what format should we make it let us know what you want and when i compress it i will put a pic in for all the formats needed, so everyone can view it as they want...were already making it in different sizes.

the hi res will be updated very shortly im uploading to rapidhare now to give to Nz_wanderer so he can host it. be warned though it is not of the final picture that is posted on web now. what is in this hi res is 5 pics of differing formats so that everyone can view it from .bmp to .tif i think i got it covered.
