Silly question, where can one buy the Bellator SSD in game? Been looking everywhere just to test and look at the model and such. I see it in-game but cannot purchase.

Hey, I downloaded X3 editor do remove weapon data from LU ship pack, but could not locate it, can you please tell me how weapon data files are called, so ill edit it for myself? Thank you!

I'm not sure but it is probably the Destroyer XL. You can buy it at the Imperial shipyards and i think at the Terran shipyards too.

S-Foils

Dear All,

I am new to X3 and thus the mod, however I do like it so far! I have a question regarding S-foils. Is the X-wing the only vessel where the S-foils(or other movable services like the Pelta-class wings?) can be locked/unlocked.

Progress

In and fully working, no problems.
Replaces the Heavy Centaur, The "Rogue One" Hammerhead Corvette, very similar to the "SW Rebels" corvette.
Not a very high detail one, I spent only one day making it and two days doing textures, but its good enough for now I think, too many ships still in need of improvement.

That hammerhead though! I will be using that a capital ship for a good while, until I can afford my CIS armada. FOR THE GLORY OF THE SEPARATIST ALLIANCE!

I haven't encountered or test confirmed any bugs you aren't addressing. Carry on my friend your work is incredible.

Although, sad to see the Heavy Centaur going for this.

Is there no way to not change ships at all?
As I mentioned earlier, I'm pretty new to X3 and literally never played the Vanilla :oops: , but recently having my fun with litcubes, and it seems as he has plenty of ships added without removing ships they were already in.
(am I assuming wrong?)

I'd love to see as many different ships as possible in a Star Wars Universe, but that's just my own fetish, huehue.

I can't wait for the new Version coming out!
I only jumped over to litcubes (getting familiar with the commands,since you announced to porting it to there either way) becuse the light cruiser weapons bays completly annoyed me :D
But I must say, LU is 1500% better as I would have imagined! :lol:


Please take all the time you need to finish, fix and polish everything, I'm your biggest fanboy ^.^

I already tabbed 59356076901 times to compare ships and I dont want to break my installation by installing something that doesnt work (BAMBOO INTERNET! :shock: )

Hey,

The Heavy Centaur will still be available for sale but will not be filling the specific service role.

The IG-2000 will be in a bit later.

Litcubes is a more complex port then I though, some of my models seem to not like the lighting setup and sounds dont work, dont know why, and another thing, I doubt it will be a full port, that might be too hard to do, but a full ship pack will be eventually available.
A lot of features of Litcubes mod Ill integrate into my Star Wars mod including a competing Race like the Phanom Corp.

The Legacy-class Star Destroyer
in and operational, but not fully, The two huge Ion cannons not operational yet.
This ships feature is the two massive ion cannons as seen on Hoth, no other perks.

This ship will be in service with the Alliance replacing the OTAS Boreus M2.
Symbol of the Republic, the last to be produced by the Republic before Imperial takeover.

Really like the way youre going with this! :D

Some of my thoughts:

- consider sector takeovers, imperialistic or seperatistic parties would try to take over a sector/planet after a voctory in a battle.

- change sector names, and the textures of the planets, you tried that with the new sectors curuscant, but it was bug heavy, maybe thats a way to do it. And you could put in a lot more sectors (http://www.swgalaxymap.com/). X3 extended had 199 sectors :o
- And the death star would be not moveable but possible

- Star Wars specific Missions.

you will already have a long list till 1.0, maybe you will share some of it with us beforehand.

i am looking sooooo hard forward to mid february when i have finally the time to play!!!

Sounds good to me.

If you manage to implamate such a good big fleet management as Litcube does + the fairly nice SCH management + challenging AL (thats what I'm looking forward the most - I like to have a challenge in the game!!!)

That would be truely godlike. Dont forget the performance and stability, tho :P
But you already mentioned that your mod wont be for weaker Pcs.
So I'm running a very high end machine, but I heard X3 is a single thread thingi, I'm worried it couldn't be as smooth as LU is.

Have you thought about contacting litcube? I think he could give you some hints if you ask him politely.

Hi Cekura,

1: Fleet management: As far as i know there are scripts downloadable for that, if they are not suitable Ill contact Litcube to see if he can give me his for our mod.

2: optimization: No "Star Wars" will not be as smooth because our universe is currently very densely populated, with thousands of ships doing small odd things like, tech-support, courier, ambulance etc.. how ever I will be reducing the amount of heavily populated sectors for a more post/hot major war feel.
I am also using very high detail models for immersion.

3: The "Hammerhead Corvette": Ai that spawn several jobs e.g. "sector patrol" is now using Hammerheads instead of Centaurs, Ai that is growing will be mission dependent when choosing between the two, in other words, if the Ai need a well armed freighter/defensive m6 then it'll buy a hammer head, if it needs an offensive ship the it'll but a Centaur. (hopefully)

4: heavier war/takeover scripts will be in 1.0+.


Its easier for me to build up this mod then port to litcubes, litcubes has a very low graphical universe, im going for the opposite.
But ill still be releasing the ship packs for it.

Its an german scripter, but the scripts are fantastic and worked for me with this mod the last time. There are recetnly updated.

What youre looking for is the Codea Waffensystem/ weapon system. Like all scripts you have to understand it at first but than its so easy to use and in my opinion better than Litcubes! http://www.xuniversum.info/index.php?op ... &Itemid=62

What that does, it pays your Pilots and Personal. A bit more realistic.

If you have questions, aks me, i use these skripts since my first x3 expierience. Dont forget to install the "Libraries".
