If I have more than one TL shop for the same SCH, do they remember what the other TL already bought? like the option from the "Deploy Satellite Network" to remember last position? Asking because if i build 400´s the TL is full more than one time each SCH. hope u understand what i mean, not that good in english

€: Nevermind i tested it later today, they will buy double

So the documentation mentions that there's an "epic sound track" for LU that we're not allowed to have; is there at least a track list so that I can try to assemble it myself? Some of the CC tracks really rub me the wrong way.

Just a question, is there a way to "setup" a Repair Ship, that would repair my ship like i would do in my spacesuite?

As far as I know manual EVA is the only way to repair ships in space.

Litcube Mobile Mining Help.

Post by Danny200 »

Hello I am using litcubes Universe and love it and I have a mammoth with 6 miners home-based and attached to it everything is working fine and they are all mining and brining it back yo the mammoth...

Now I also have a TS homebase on the mammoth I was wondering is it possible to assign the ts to sell the ore while it's being collected on the mammoth? Just to make some money... thanks in advance.

I don't think you can run any automated scripts to do selling (like Station Agent) for ships homebased to a TL. You'll have to move those goods to an equipment dock (using Couriers) and then use Dock Agent sellers assigned to the EQ. This may sound like a lot of overhead but in LU you need to use a PHQ anyways (for building a fleet) which is the best EQ you can get so it all falls naturally in its place.

Does anyone's game keep freezing? I am not using any other scripts or mods and every once and a while it randomly freezes and I have to Force close the game using Task Manager. Is this a problem for anyone else and how do I fix it?

I have had this aswell, i noticed that my game often freezes when there are missiles fired at my ship, sometimes when the anti missile system CCDS kicks in to fire chaffs.

@kecin25, @Anubitus

I'd love to just say that you installed the mod wrong. However, with all the patches released by egosoft recently, anythings possible.

@fiby

However, i believe your install may be broken, if they truly do not exist at all in your game, Please check:Signs of a broken install

Encyclopedia is kinda derpy sometimes. Even though my scouts mapped entire universe and there were adv. satellites in all friendly/neutral sectors, I still had to manually 'visit' specific stations (map->check info or use shipyard trade menu) to have some specific wares/ships' entries visible in encylopedia.

Chaff should be available at every equipment dock. Check if you can see them on the list. If yes- that's the case of encyclopedia being derpy, if not- your install might be broken.

Export Empire not working - possibly...?

Post by Sandtrooper »

Apologies for those suffering from apparent deja vu if seeing this elsewhere - I was curtly advised that I'd posted in an incorrect location.

Firstly - 'vanilla' LU. I haven't gone for 'plus' or 'Mayhem' things and until I've negotiated around the learning curve, I went into Art Life settings and disabled both OCV and Phanon. Disabled Avast antivirus's file scanner as per such mentions elsewhere regarding duration taken to crunch the 'empire' but, nothing seems to have happened after an hour. No idea what name the alleged t-file is supposed to be and I don't see anything 'growing' in the addon folder. By the way, accessing desktop whilst game runs (for me, that's the '#' key causes game to pause in my absence. Does that interrupt or even worse - CANCEL the export crunching process?

Now then, why do I feel I have to export and restart? Hours (and days) into the game, I encounter a lack of silicon in the sector where I wanted to set up my first SCH. No asteroids at all if I wanted to set up in say, A's Beacon with all that sunshine so...

Hmm, I read online that we can have the TL bring required asteroids together in order to meet the required quota? Hmm, no - I seem to be lacking a

traction beam that apparently can be bought only in Ore Belt or PTNI
Spoiler

but, they're not listed for sale at either location.

Forums elsewhere suggest this is because the 'Bonus Pack' managed to squeeze its way in during initial game installation. I don't recall seeing an option to include/exclude the BP when using my DVDs. Procedure DOES require installation & activation of TC before AP can then be done and from there, all the LU stuff - base mod, update patch (1.7.2, 2014) then sound and GUI etc. With this tractor beam being the only concession left behind where AP vanilla had the convenience of tractors readily available, I'm now unable to build SCHs if insufficient 'roids are in the same sector. Hephaistos allows overproduction of intermediate resources for HQ shipbuilding but again, absence of complex cleaner makes for excruciating frame rates.

Therefore, I either find a way to restart WITH current empire and ships, satelites etc, or else hope I can board/claim abandoned capitals in lieu of being able to gain resources through fabs :(

Is it possible to restart as in 'standard AP' - (e.g. pasting saved [save] folder in my docs after reinstalling the game? I was wondering if I could reinstall THEN 'UNinstall' BP if unable to initially exclude and then paste previously saved SAVE folder into my docs on the C: drive and my installed game is on a separate HDD (because system drive is a SSD and we all know how quickly they die from repeatedly writing to them).

No marines are training, no ships being built, rev-engineered, no recycling under way. Only STs working within their designated areas. Additions include: Joub's toolkit, Hephaistos (not yet used), turret on/off (essential if not wanting to destroy what's just bailed), sat monitoring, Anarkis (LU version), MARS and such like.

I'm willing to provide a save of my game if anyone wants to have a looksee.
TIA for any thoughts and input/suggestions.

Having already looked BEFORE leaving the initial post, I did not find an answer to stated issue. Hopefully, there'll be folk more helpful and less rude or condescending else I should start marking homework by pointing out that PLURAL FORMS OF NOUNS DO NOT CONTAIN APOSTROPHES!

Its has been suggested that you post in LUs own thread.
Do you get any info text at the bottom of the screen when you hit export empire?

Nothing whatsoever - another conundrum in itself. After selecting export, I was returned to the usual 'staring out of my cockpit into space. I had expected a "Command accepted" response or something to that effect. I suppose the SCH is not the be all and end all way to gather resources but, it would have been convenient. That said, the Hephaistos function facilitates acquisition of other resources for shipbuilding so, it looks as though I'll just have to set up mobile mining assuming that isn't broken as well (I'll find out eventually when I explore that path).Unlike Hephaistos, the SCHs don't provide any over-spill and are further limited to one output plus energy.

Given the above, exportation and reinstallation might clean up the route directory folder but, not necessarily fix the 'circumstances' shall we say.

As for the LU thread, I thought that was where I'd posted this the first time but it seems that this is becoming ever-circular. On the LU thread, clicking 'reply' appears not to be the correct selection so, I'll be more than happy if an administrator has the ability to relocate this.

Sandtrooper is sounds like you have an installation issue. If not for the base installation issues, this problem sounds like the Export/Import package is not installed.

Note also that tractor beams are not in LU anymore. Plutarch Tractor Systems are what you're looking for to move asteroids.

That's some kind of bug with this terribly old forum software that Egosoft insists on using. To work around it just use the "quote" button, not "reply", and then feel free to remove any/all of the quoted text (so it's effectively like a regular "reply" at that point).
