This is just great. Lost the battle and unable to download the saves

Thanks guys, chuffed to be going into the 2nd round. Commiserations to CJ, I honestly thought you'd win, if not the Deimos then I thought the Wraith missiles would turn the tide quickly.

I'd like to play the save but it keeps crashing, got the map pack and load Geosynch. As soon as I load the game quits and tell me the save might be corrupt. Quick solution to what I'm doing wrong anyone?

Anyway, am I allowed to make one last adjustment to my fleet? (I know the answer will be no)

Reason is, those M8s I've got were actually firing at first, only one or 2 missiles, I'll agree... but now when I test it they just do nothing and ram the enemy to death. (their own death)

I'm thinking 2.6 might have made it worse?

Yes, the answer is no.

Edit: And that's not because I'm pretty pissed because I can't download the save

. But it would hardly be fair to any fleet that is listed; both those who had their first battle and those who know by now whom they face in 1st round.

Yeah, I know it's a no, I'm really just giving people a heads up that, well, until we add a Missile % bombers are 100 useless. Even before they were only 90% useless. But now... 100%.

No, they were useless even under 2.5. And we discussed that pretty early when people startet thinking of M7M fleets and missle spam - those would be useless, too.

I know, then I tested one and it at least fired off around 5-6 missiles as it closed on the enemy.

Just put all the maps into the folder where you put maps into. I don't remember if I used Geosynch or not. I probably didn't.

And is anyone else having problems with the save being corrupted?

Oh and does a Mega Weekend sound good to you guys? One battle on Saturday, one on Sunday?

Are you scared?

After my most recent run throughs I think I'm in trouble.

But, I'm going to test one last thing. I haven't so far bothered to add triplexes, and they seem to make a difference when it comes to most of the fleet going on holiday to the edges of the sector.

Oh yeah, 2 of the 44 disco's decided to just wander off. But I doubt that would have changed the outcome of the battle.
