Big ships are fine and dandy, but what about lighter ships like Balor and Heavy Sul?

Need some better M class ships, one bomber and a couple fighters isn't much to choose from.in AP Terrans had a TM class that was horseshoe shaped like the bigger ships now, that would fit in as an M class drone carrier or small fighter carrier. also one mod used a bigger heavier corvette design for the Marauder back then, makes a nice gunboat. :roll:

Will talk to Ojump, which of the smaller ones he is porting.
But i think i will not convert fighters, because this is really difficult.

Version 3.4 released:

- Fixed removing equipment from ships
- Change Taranis Engine to a resized version (a litte bit smaller)
- Changed all new created ships in shipyards to MK2 models for future compatibility with Ojumps XR mod

I don't think S and M class ships would be do-able, as you need to make unique cockpits for each of them.

L sized would be good though, I would love to see the Balor and Heavy Sul

The Taranis looks very nice with the resized engines :thumb_up:

A suggestion, due to the enhanced X: rebirth textures.
Moving down the side turrets (red), so they don't block the numbers on the hull.
It's just a visual thing, but they should fit just about in the yellow area

the cockpit problem can be bypassed by copy-pasting a cockpit from another ship
I tried this on a proof of concept centaur from X3: https://imgur.com/a/mUnGLoN and the result came out quite good! (i used the bridge of the argon miner, is circled in red in the picture)
(unfortunately, I am not skilled enough to transform it into a real mod as I don't know anything about textures XD )

some would surely be but others, in my opinion, are still awesome like the Teladi fighters, the Paranid corvettes and almost all argon ships (i have a soft spot for the X3 centaur and argon fighters hahaha)

I've found a little bug with the shield generator for the right L weapon being oddly rotated, the one near the back cockpit!

Here a more detailed screenshot. The shield generator i'm talking about it's the one targeted. The one on the left side has no issue.

Also i've recently noticed that the two player-logos below the ship are not attached to the ship hull, but they're floating a bit below...

Will investigate the shield, do you have a screenshot for the playerlogos? The Taranis should have 3 logos only and none on the down side of the ship.

Taranis engines don't turn off when ship is not moving in any direction. Zero speed.
