I don't know, but now we know there are no reason to beleive the game would have been more than half-made if released last year. In may, 50%, 75%, who knows ?

Maybe they're just integrating some very long to program OMG "features" (I don't like this term, that makes us really the child in front of a cake the that we all somehow are

). Maybe because of people ranting and ranting they try to make some 20 cockpits or something, or maybe for the game they had the eyes bigger than the belly, as we say in french.

Nobody knows and we shouldn't care, there will a lot of great games this end of the year to wait for Rebirth !

Like many, I have no fingers left to type with due to biting my fingernails so much in anticipation of the release of X-Rebirth (I am typing this with my nose).

However, I found that Sainsbury's (Big supermarket here in the UK) have a pre-order and date on their website. http://www.sainsburysentertainment.co.u ... =E11030063

I phoned them asking if this was a real date and was told that they had been informed by their distributer as such. I was assured that this would be a reasonably accurate date.

Whether this is true or not, who knows. But meh, it's something.

Well, what do you expect them to say?

"No, this is a made-up date, Sir. We always do such stuff to encourage our customers to order games and other stuff at our store. We don't have any accurate information about a definite release date. Have a nice day."

I'm not a sales/marketing guy, but I doubt somehow that the truth will convince many customers to preorder there.

Well, there is that post in "The Big Picture" official thread by Bernd that says sometime in 2012. I guess I'll optimistically hold to that and hope that we'll see it for X-mas.

I'm already calm. You're the one, who posted a statement that an estimated release date of the 31st March 2013 (which is a Sunday btw.) is considered "reasonably accurate" together with the sentence that you don't know, whether this is true or not.

In public about mod decisions, maybe, but otherwise they're just people like us non-mods and don't have any special status meaning you can't call into question about what they say (again, unless it's about a mod-related decision, at which point you need to take it up via PM with them directly).

my spiderman sensetive tells me that we will not see the game in 2012. and this makes me very sad (( is the end of the third quarter and the release date is not a words or sound. total lack of information is very disturbing.
