How about giving it an Argon texture? The gold stuff isn't really that pretty.

First of all hi there love the MO but waiting to be finished to play with it,
so this cockpit is in the belly of the beast as it were, and the hud is holographic.

Please do not over obscure the view. I hate it when there is too much ship shape blocking out what you can see ahead.

If I understand your teaser correctly, the entry to the cockpit is animated so that it looks like you are coming out of an elevator or some such?

Yes, you'll float into the levitator which is actually located deep within the ship (not literally, the camera's still outside). You'll get armed with cool stuff along the way (:

Haha. I've thought of that before. Flying blind is your only option then. xD
You'll have immediate control of your ship once you switch to the cockpit. Whatever i've implemented are just eye candy and doesn't take long to get yourself strapped in. You can still use your top left and right displays to look at what's ahead.

v0.5 is up !

I've yet to add the cockpit as it's incomplete (:
This versions has the naming done so you'll no longer see 99998 in game anymore.

Major update to the base ship model as well, it has been reinforced with stuff and even includes a mini colony on deck.

0.5 users, do reply whether the ship's name appears in game. thanks

what files and entry s got changed so i can fix my merge

Recopy the T Ship entry into your merged T Ship. That's the only T File change.
Or just change the ID 99998 to 98000

The rest of the files, it's best if you'd replace all of them.

There's the change in the base model, brand new dds, [s]adjustments in scene,[/s] TShips, New Setup and text.xmls, no change in engine effects and props though.



EDIT: Actually don't replace the goldheart_scene.pbd file, I forgot to fix the docking.. use v0.4a's one instead.
v0.5's will only use the M6 internal dock.

Replace, goldheart.bob, and append all the dds (there might have been changes to the existing ones).
