Note that if you get 5 messages, it means its working.
Then note also that the sectors in the message are just a pointer to the area, the new sector might be 3 to 8 jumps away from there.
General heads up:
I'm still rather busy in RL so no updates yet, I should get around it next week and hopefully getting the STO thingy working. Seam IR users are doing fine though.
Another Idea I had, and I have had a look at other mods on the forums, but I cannot see, anything Like what I would want or need. Even the STO and racebattle thing.
The mod would be Easy interface, basicly a Drop down list. When you in the system you want, open the interface then Choose a Race(once per system) For no rep lost or gain. This way you could Give a race one of the new sectors. When a race owns the sector, God will start building in them, if I understand?.
It was written for x3TC, but from ym understanding it should work for x3R, as does not change any base systems that x3r has that x3TC does not and same other way. why not Try it and see.
Ive tried to acess the script via Mission Director. Once opening it the hud no longer responding and if i try to pass a gate once i took it the whole game not responding anymore so i guess we need an individual script for Reunion
I have no other scripts for MD
I would like to see a script like this one for Reunion. Not a chance to build my empire and setup all the traders and patrols for X3 TC. Without them the vanilla TC systems are more than enough^^

X3R doesn't support secondary signals, so it's unlikely it will work.

I´ve installed this script .Works fine.
All my stations are there, but the gates no
Upgraded data for the maps? Read the "readme" file (find it in the directory where you installed the script), especially the configuration and update data.
I use this script and no problem locates new sectors and gates leading to them.

I am considering writing a script for adding "land grab" wars to these sectors (c/f cut down STO/IR) basic concept is as follows:-
Each of the Commonwealth races and the Terrans have 1 or more explorer ships which randomly wander the universe with a defensive posture.
When an explorer ship encounters one of the RSM sectors they look for the ownership or the presence of player stations.
If the sector is not owned and no player stations are present then they will claim it (Name change to <Race> Unknown Sector) and a medium sized fleet of defence ships will spawn there.
If the sector is owned by a notional ally (or on good terms with the player and player stations are present in an unclaimed sector) a small sized fleet of defence ships will spawn there (p2p jump in near the Explorer ship).
If the sector is owned by a notional enemy (or on hostile terms with the player and player stations are present in an unclaimed sector), a large sized fleet of assault ships will spawn (p2p jump in near the Explorer ship) and attack the defending ships, and the Explorer ship will jump out (after 10s) to previous sector and black list that sector for say an hour.
If all defending ships are destroyed the sector ownership of a claimed sector will revert to unclaimed and the name will change back to Unknown Sector.
If an explorer ship gets destroyed then a replacement will be created at the nearest shipyard for that race/or one of it's notional allies.

Sounds good, but I looking for something even more easy then that, were you the player gets to decide who gets the system when you in it. with a menu. You get nothing else for it other then then fact god will spawn ships/stations when they own the system.

I will probably produce a basic script that will change a given sector's name and ownership. As part of that, I may produce a test harness along the lines you are suggesting. If I do, I will release it as an unsupported mini-mod/script.
beside the sector LooManckstract's Legacy there is a space in the map between that sector and Spaceweedgrove sector. They are connected by the east gate in Loo's and the west gate is grove. This has placed a sector in between them and placed Another east gate in Loo's sector.
Both east gates work if wierdly, the normal east gate will take you to Spaceweedgrove, but going back through the west gate takes you to the new east gate in Loo's,going throught the new east gate takes you to the new sector that was created.
doesnt seem to be game breaking ,but I have only just noticed the new gate recently.
Oh. I just bought X3TC last night (X Super Box) and this is pretty much my first time playing. So Im just learning the ropes and trying to figure out how to play.
By the way, I was reading some information about X3 that said if your idle for longer than 6 mins you loose rank. is that still in Terran Conflict? cause that would suck.

Also had a similar problem, only the sectors of Duke's Citadel, and the Perpetual Sin.
I hope that the next version of the script will be better and without errors.
