Thanks, you was right. When i reassigned pilots to tender suply they reached the rank of commander.
Now another questions :D :
1) is there any chanses that i can command tender to supply with Enegy cells not only M1, and my convoy of 2 M6's?
2) Will be in future command like for Tender to dock in carrier for M6? I know, that creator of that wonderfull script is Lycike, but maybe you know :)

The regular tenders only act as storage extension for the carrier itself. The supply tender delivers to the carrier or to each tenders, but not to any other ship of the convoy.

BUT ... and there's the big BUT: ... you can set up the carrier, to "re-distribute" different wares, like energy cells too, to each fighter- or battle-group ships. Just see the section "Armament and Equipment" inside the CODEA manual for further information.

Not sure, what you mean exactly. If you use a carrier, which is able to dock TS, it's already possible to set the tenders to dock at the carrier. Further information can be found in the "Code of Conduct" section of the manual.

Strange ... for now, I just wonder ... 164 used units of cargo space ... what are they used for, only for shields and fighter drones or does that maybe include the jump drive energy?

164 units of cargo is Shield, Mosquito Missiles, Lasers (HEPT's), and fighter drones.
As far as I know no additional energy crystals except that which it loaded at the Solar Complex. When it unloaded all the EC it was empty of Energy Crystals and therefore could not make the jump back to the Solar Complex.

Um, so I've always used the support topics in order to update Lucike's scripts. Apparently the support topics no longer provide the most up-to-date versions of each of the scripts. How do I get a hold of the new versions?

Just download the zipped version of Lucikes Script Collection. All scripts in there are provided in sub-zip's so they can easily be installed seperately.
If you want the whole collection, you can also use also the exe-version.

As alternative, you can change into the German support topic by clicking onto the German flag inside the English support topic and download from there.

Hi I found something you rote sometime ago
If you cannot be bothered to go head-hunting for personnel, simply dock one of your own ships, with a cargo bay life support system and a lieutenant as pilot to a military outpost or an equipment dock. He will then periodically recruit available personnel. You have no influence on this process.
Where/how do I hire a Lieutenant to pilot my ship/ships??

With CODEA you can hire Lieutnants directly from a (Argon) Military Outpost with some luck. Else hire a recruit and train him as long as he reaches the rank of a Lieutnant.

How do I assign a pilot to a ship??

I have 10 pilots in my transporter and I just transferred 3 of them to 3 ships and one of them does not work...in the info menu I dont see his name, he's just in the freight section and no where else.

Can I only transfer pilots to pilot other ships if thise ships are docked in my ship, or can I do it when those ships are flying/idling somewhere else??

Seems as you moved the pilot into the cargo bay (used regular ware transfer command maybe?). Just get it back onto your Carrier/Personnel Transporter and try again with CODEA/Personnel Transporter own commands.

Else, please do a more detailed description of your problem.

Not sure about that, as I never did it that way except for CODEA convoy ships. At least that ones can get their pilots from their CODEA carrier while following them and beeing in range. Transporter Device must be installed of course.

If that works with any other ships or with Personnel Transporter too, I don't know. But it may be possible, you just may try if you like.

You can hire a Lieutenant from ANY races Military Outpost and that LT will have the race of the Outpost. Just use the CODEA hire button and don't hire anyone until a LT shows up (hit confirm without hiring anyone). Usually I find that one shows up every 3 hire groups. While this method means that when your hiring enough pilots to outfit a carrier it would take a VERY long time...if the number is low it does not take all that long.

Yes I used the normal transfer freight option and it worked for two pilots and they fly :) but did not work for the third so that's funny :)

Ok so I'll use the "good" option now:)

Well I think that there should be some sort of a script to make the pilot assignements more automated (Like "assign pilots to ships"-> select class of ships-> and that's all), so I wouldn't have to click every pilot to a ship, I cant find an option to assign pilots to ships that are not docked in my carrier so that is a pain, having to dock one ship...give him a pilot and undock...30 times the same:( and if I would like to personalize all of my ships...it would take a few days :( :cry:

Recon is a good way to train up Recruits to Lieutenant without them getting into anything more dangerous than an M5.

got a bit of a question about this

[MINI-SCR] Purgation in Commonwealth and Terran Docks

now would this work with XTC? cause there is a known issue with second hand ships if not bought like to build up over time and eat up processing cycles in the game which makes the game run a bit slower.

Hi, great script btw, I'm trying to set up my first CODEA operated carrier, and I am unclear on a few things.

1st: Do I NEED any crew to start the carrier itself? I know the weapons system needs gunners and such, but it doesn't say I need it for CODEA except for specific things like bombers.

2nd: The bombers.... how do I get them INTO the carrier? I have a Hoshi, a few collected fighters, and some severely damaged bombers, I wanted to dock them so that I can repair them (I have the marine repair script), and them put them into service. But They can't dock.

I have all the required equipment, transporter ect... What do I need to do?
