Hmmm....
I just went thru the Treasure Hunt, but....
I was told to find the Susanowa in Okracoke's Storm (spelling?), NOt Weaver's Tempest...
Could someone Verify that Yaki Rep plays a part (I was allowed to dock at the Yaki Shipyard, but I can't get into Weaver's Tempest without getting shot at)?

I was shot at when I went into Weaver's Tempest as well, but I was flying a maxed out Chokaro (154m/s) which meant I could easily outrun the ships doing the shooting--in fact, I got to the ship, blew up what I was meant to, and jumped out before the chasing pack caught up! Yaki rep, like Pirate rep, is an odd thing--even if you're relatively friendly with them some of their ships will still be hostile to you, and there's no way to change that.

You just cannot RE it. It doesn't appear in the available ships list under RE.Magneto wrote:I just finished this with some guess work and a bit of help, i was wondering though, it says its illegal to reproduce the shuttle, is that serious because when i get a HQ i would like to build more, anyone know yet?

Same here. I didn't have to go to Weaver's Tempest at all.Gold Dragon wrote:I just went thru the Treasure Hunt, but....

As another data point, the shipwreck was pretty much where the text claimed it would be (one sector diameter straight to the south).

I used an M3 for this, so I flew a big detour high up (70 km because of all those missiles
), then straight south, and down again, and I ended up directly where the wreck was. It helped that it was easily visible against the bright planet this way.

Yeah the Xeon 101 part is nuts. In my game

their is fleet for xeon ships guarding the gate, a K(m2), 6-7 Qs(m7), 10 or Ps(M6) and about 40+ m3-m5s.
I ended up using some kestrals(maxed speed/turning with apropriate software explorer etc) jumping in first and sent out to the directions i wasn't going so the fleet guarding the gate dispersed following them and I just ran my ship thru after waiting a bit for the fleet to get away from the gate dropped a sat on my way to the ship and jumped out when I was done.
After that it was just a simple tell the kestrals to return home(They where homebased to a tm I had in the sector north. Only lost 1(on the jump in)
P.S. Tried jumping in my Osaka when I first tried it and discover the nice present waiting for me on the other side. I was surprised how quickly 12gj of shielding goes down. Decided to rather lose some cheap m5s instead of trying a fleet action thru that gate as I am pretty sure even sending my full fleet I would have probably lost the fist ship thru or a ton of fighters if I sent them thru first to open the door for my cap ships to come thru.

Its random set to one of those 3 sectors. Guidance will tell you so just follow it.Ulan Dhor wrote:Same here. I didn't have to go to Weaver's Tempest at all.
As to 101 the location to the Collossus is actually at <position x="-10km" y="10km" z="-70km"/>, no idea why people always add a minus to the second value. Anyway, there might be some difference in that position IF there is an object already there near to those values, should that be the case collision check will offset the ship accordingly.

I'm not sure whether this is based on luck. I started as Humble Merchant, and Yaki were always blue to me. When I first discovered their space, it was still the same. It might have helped that I did a taxi mission from the shipyard when I first docked there to buy a ship, but even Weaver's Tempest was completely blue to me when I first flew through the gate (and nearly into the M2 sitting there). And there I got a station build mission...pjknibbs wrote:You must be amazingly lucky, then.Ulan Dhor wrote: I have never seen a red Yaki ship in my game. Or do you refer to missions?
I can only guess that you might start seeing red Yaki after doing some fight missions that include them, therefore my question regarding missions.

That sounds right. It was at the southern edge of the fully zoomed-out map. See spoilerific image with wreck at the bottom and position of a nearby ship:Ketraar wrote:As to 101 the location to the Collossus is actually at <position x="-10km" y="10km" z="-70km"/>, no idea why people always add a minus to the second value. Ship wreck not found at cited location.
Same thing happened to me. Previously I played TH in 2.1, and found the shipwreck at the correct location (-10,10,-70). Now that I restarted a new game (vanilla game) in 2.5, I could not find the ship wreck at the location. Went there, and it is empty space.
There are 3 more ship wrecks higher in Z coordinates in the sector, but none trigger the "Scanning" message. Sigh!!!

But Ketraar guarantees that the shipwreck is at the cited location, UNLESS something else was there already.!!!! In my case, it is empty space with nothing in sight at the cited coords (not counting the horde of K & Qs in hot pursuit).

[Update]
I ran around the sector X101, getting close to every ship wreck, but no scanning message, then all of a sudden I got it. Turn out there is NO SHIPWRECK IN SIGHT. The location is near the middle of the sector (Coord -3, 3, 2).
This is really a bug, as there is no way one can find the location of the shipwreck when there is no shipwreck to find.
