Thanks, worked great.

Pirate Bayamon, Mandalay and Orinoco are finished. I changed their cockpit models to the Teladi one, because i always thought the head shaped one looked kinda stupid.

The Mandalay and Bayamon now look class, but the Orinoco looks just like the Falcon.

This is a turret cockpit for fighter and corvettes, the glass is separate from the actual cockpit and it won't show up in the game. Can you merge them please.

The part is here

Mammoth and Barracuda are done

@killerog

could you fix the animation on the mammoth, also there is a file (939.bod) that is another turret cockpit that needs the glass attached.

I've found a bug in my mod and it definitely has something to do with the textures.

I'm putting all the textures from X2 into the mod simply because it'll take too long to separate the ones used by the ships and the ones that aren't. So the textures that aren't used by the ships are still there, and their not renamed.

So they overwrite a small few of the TC textures, the side-effects i've seen so far is the cursor in the sector map has disappeared, and the main menu is brighter. But there may be more that i haven't seen.

How do i find out which ones are doing this?

1 way i guess is to compare tcs textures with all of x2s ones, place evey texture that is not in tc (same name) in the mod and leave the rest out.

Im guessing you have included textures for the gui from x2 as well ? this would cause the cureser to dissappear.

yeah, that worked killerog. The UI is now working properly, thanks.

And i've also managed to port over the asteroids in X2 with the tunnels going through them. I gave them the same textures as the X3 asteroids, but their still lower poly, so they'll look funny next to the X3 ones. Unless your using the lower poly asteroid mod.

Ok, when i first loaded the ship it was pointing straight downwards. I turned it so it was facing the right way, than i saved it. When i loaded it up again it was facing downwards again. I've done this 3 times now and it won't stay the right way up!! How do i fix that.

It's not an X2 ship by the way, it's the Osiris from Freelancer.

sweet, it's facing the right way now. But now it won't stay at the center, it keeps moving back a bit everytime i load it.
