:? Maybe the gang have been abducted by aliens for writing stuff to close to the truth..? :o  :)

Okay, no idea! But we idiots that read this stuff tend to die of boredom eventually, we need a literary fix

I can't even remember whose 'turn' it is.

I'll start on a new chapter all the same, just for some flow.

I have, at last, returned. The reason for my absense is a long and complicated one. Suffice to say I've been seriously ill, then as I began to recover (though frankly, judging by my past experiances with this illness, it might return, literally in the space of a few hours) I turned on my computer after a long dormancy, it displayed a message that said in as many words, that my hard drive and all backups where now so much scrap.

It'll take me a few days to get anywhere near reposting, but I've started the climb. . .

Sigh. It's a bit stacked against you of late, isn't it, AJK?

Here's hoping for a swift, complete, and permanent recovery.

Smart a..leck

I just knew you were going to riposte with that! I had thought to end the comment with: '...without making you less of a bloke' but I thought better of it. Apart from the usual gamut of Monty Python one liners that went through my brain. :)

Would he like a shrubbery?... :o

If not Monty Python, a John Cleese one flitted across my mind at that point. Fawlty Towers.

'I'm going to give you a damn good thrashing!'

If you've seen the episode, not so funny.

But out of context? Oh, man.

And now I am heading to Atlanta for a few days. I hope maybe I'll find some free time there

Atlantis?.. You are going to Atlantis?

Post by parameter »

:o Atlantis?.. :)
Enjoy yourself, but remember when the waves seem high it may be that Atlan..ta is sinking back beneath the waves.. so wear your water wings at all times. Ignore the twits giving you looks of empathic sorrow..!

Wow, so I've just surfaced from school starting back up (yay! everyone's surfacing again! :D) and I have a new computer that's actually officially capable of running (beautifully) X3. So I might be spending a slightly larger part of my free time actually playing X3.

In the mean time though, I haven't been totally useless on the RP front. I've started the process of officially assembling and compiling the current story into actual "story" format- I've also started on a related and potentially parallel project with a much, much grander scale. The working title is "Terraformer Scripture." :D

Anyway, just waiting on someone to post a good springboard for either Adrian or T'ach, and I'll come out swinging. :)

Also, that compiling thing? I was gonna do that once everything was done, polish it off, proofread it etc. Then post it somewhere online and link it.

But nooooo. Tenlar got there first :P

EDIT: Got my email yet, Tenlar? :P

Lol... I might not actually be the best candidate for the job of "compiler." Given my track record of never, ever finishing something that I start... :P And actually, I might just consign myself to the prequel/sequel. I have lots of surrounding ideas that I wanna write down.

Yup, just got it :D Reply on its way.

How about you start on the prequel/sequel stuff, and I start the compiling? That way, we can both do what we're likely to be better at ;)

Sweeeeeet... I've already got a load written down for a sequel/prequel. ^^ I'm going pretty large-scale with this, by the way... like, down to the "why" of the space gates, and the Sohnen, and the Ancients, and the Kha'ak, and things like that. :)

What could be cool is if I began the sequel with a certain event that the current story would end with. That would give the current story an end to slowly arc towards- slowly, of course. But a little direction is good to have.

Oh yes, and e-mail sent. :)
