Yeah i'm sorry but the site x-dc.net has not been renewed and is therefor closed down. I will try and contact my friend who payed for the hosting and see if he still has a backup on his own server.

For now, could you please write "temporarily unavailable" in red or something next to the link ?

There used to be a really nice big comparison table of all the X2 ships, listing their specs and colour-coded weapon slots etc etc. Can't seem to find that anywhere. Or there was an excel file which had similar info too (one page for each class) which seems to be gone. Anyone have an idea as to their current location? I've even tried the search function.

I turn my back for a second (actually been two years...) and everything's gone

Sorry to be a pain guy's, but I am lazy.

Can somebody point me in the direction of an English walk through for X-BTF.
I have purchased X-Gold, to start the story from the beginning, and would like to get a head start before it arrives in the post.

Also, is the universe map much different to X2?
And if so is there a downloadable X-BTF/T map?

For everything pre- X3, Argonopedia is THE resource:

You need to choose X-Beyond The Frontier, then Cartography; and the printable map is low down the page. And compared to the X2 map it's TINY!

However, can I suggest that for maximum impact, you DON'T look anything up first? X-BTF is a game that is improved by unfamiliarity and searching and feeling lost - it's the whole point of the game, right from the intro onwards!
