Im quicly running out of stuff to do in X. Hoping the missing missile-fabs finaly arrive so i can build my ultimate missile complex.

Where can i find the file that modifies shipyard build times? 2-3 hours for M3+ might be decent but considoring i need 50 the "fun factor" is far away.
Using X3edit, where do find the file and can i just drop in "types" folder to make work?

Ive not fully decided whats coming in 1.20 yet.

1.20 is at least two weeks away. Im on holiday from work at the moment and ive been tasked with redecorating my step daughter's bedroom by the wife, so im not going to get much dev time till i go back to work.

That is strange. I think the first thing to do is check that the xrm is installed correctly. Can you start a new game with the Nostalgic Argon start? This puts you in Argon Prime. What model is the Argon Prime shipyard using? If the XRM is installed correctly it will be using the huge shipyard model. If you see the standard model, then part 2 is not installed correctly. Next find and target Argon One. It should be using Expnobody's M1+ model. If its invisible, then part 1 is not installed correctly. If its using the standard Collosus model, then part 2 is not installed correctly.

eggthief said XTC - is that a typo or is he trying to use it with Xtended terran conflict mod?
I used to list PC parts here, but "the best" will suffice!

Having problems with the ISR on my Advanced Heavy Nemesis. The laser noise has somehow corrupted and when I fire it just makes the noise 'N..n..n...n' - Missiles noises gone to pot too.

Oh and when I release the laser it says 'Nineteen'.

I recorded it - the missiles make the noise dum dum dum

Alright, the shipyard is fine, the Argon One is in fact invisible. I can't comprehend how I would've incorrectly installed part 1. I just renamed both files to "14" and put them in the main folder. Oh God, as I'm looking trough the rars I see a dumb mistake I've made....

I forgot the .cat and .dat file of part 1....
What a fool I am....

I'll report back after several hours into a new game (given that it wont crash now within one hour).


EDIT: Unfortunately it's still crashing :( , the invisibility issue has been resolved though.

Cool track ;) but everything works well with Adv. Nemesis. ISR firing sound seems to be ok.

Hi Paul,

I've lost track a little of the 1.19n updates, I'm currently playing an original 1.19 AP game and while I can see that the latest 1.19e fixes something purely for TC players, does this include things from 1.19b/c/d that I do need?

I'm not having any issues with v1.19 at the moment, I'm just concerned that there may be something I've missed.

Note: I can see what 1.19c adds as it's in the change log, so will likely update just for that, however the other suffixed releases don't appear there. Unfortunately there's a lot of posts to trawl through to find your release comments...

Don't worry, there was nothing major. Just drop the latest part 2 in and hull pack and it will be fine.

Is the crash random or repeatable? How far into a game do you get before the crash? Is it the same from all gamestarts?

It seems it's both random and repeatable, for instance, if it crashes when I dock somewhere, it'll still generate an autosave and crash on loading said save as well after 2 seconds. But there are also random crashes while just cruising trough any sector.

The crashes usually take place between 1-2 hours of time spent flying (seta) and I've had this with several game starts yes.

Are you still running IR? if so can you find a save from this game that still works and go into the script editor, and check the current running task count?

Also are you running missile defence mk2? It may be the suspected conflict between this and litcubes missile boat script which is included with the xrm.

If so, have you tried the fix i posted yesterday?

There is a high probability that if its the MDMK2 script, that a file called "X3Crash.log" will have been created in the games root directory, look for it, check its creation date and see if it references under the story call stack dump "ShootMissileSECBOID"
