Yeah, we will find bugs, but at least the developers do their best to sell a game and not a joke (cf Simcity, patch 3.0, still bugged and unbalanced as hell).

A game like this can't release without few bugs.

No such thing, EVER, as perfect bug-free software.

Will it have "issues"? Sure! Every piece of computer software ever released has bugs. Some more than others.

Will this one be excessively bugged? I don't think so. Gauging off of the way egosoft is developing this game, they'll release it with limited bugs and will patch things as quickly as they possibly can.

At least these are my hopes for the game and how egosoft prides themselves as to releasing a stable product.

Yeap. I think Ego should really release some kind of X: Rebirth - Unlimited Bugs Edition DLC to make half of community happy.

I am wondering if anyone thinks after May 21st 2013 we would get any more info on this game? If this was to be also an next generation console game is this the reason they haven't been able to supply us with an info?

I think this would be awesome if it was a show title for Microsoft at their event.

The waiting for this game is almost too much!

"Show title for Microsoft" means "exclusive", at least initially. So, hell, no, even if that wasn't against any info we currently have.

And we currently have such information about consoles: "Maybe someday, but definitely not on release".

27 December probably means "somewhere in 2013". Because it's more probable to release before American cristmass, not after it.

And yes, CBJ already told few times that when they will reveal release date it will be one huge colorful post on this forums before anything else.

Well, aren't there supposed to be 42 forum quests? I think we get a new one about every month or so, so I would have to say between November at the earliest and December at the latest X:R will be released. So I would think that in a couple months at most marketing is going to start to pick up. We're already getting some videos from EGOSOFT's channel so that's a good sign.

I would have to say; November/16th/2013.
Because when you subtract 11 and 13 and 2 from 42 you get 16 and then again when you add, so

11+16+2+13=42; 42(date)=42(number of forum quests)=number of the universe

This combined with what I said in the first paragraph suggests that this is indeed the correct release date.

Can I have cookie now?

no you will be able to buy it off the shelf or from steam, but in either case you will need steam to run the game.

Actually it stands for British Pound, which is worth more than a euro.

And it was never said that you couldn't buy X Rebirth at retail, only that you would have to install steam to play.
