Ho thanks for clarification, i have never see your explanation...
And for me, an accumulation of small problems cause a big problems, that what i mean but ok now i know that it was not a single big problem...
I just hope it will be release soon...
Call of Rebirth...Don't worry a big patch is comming, its called Star Citizen.

I don't want to be human !
Last hope for X Rebirth is that Egosoft stop to be arrogant and stupid and give access to Source Code for public.

A lot of small problems can spawn from one big problem.

The most difficult thing to deal with is likely related to the multi threading aspect of the game. It requires a different type of programming that few industries have a firm grasp of. So it's pretty much a learning experience for everyone. Hope you guys didn't charge into it blind. :D

Of course there are other sorts of problems that are pretty much unavoidable for any business. Best of luck solving them quickly!

I said "small things" rather than "small problems" for good reason. Not all of the things that added to the schedule were problems; some were decisions to improve certain aspects of the game. :)

Give us a release date already!

And also, the Skunk will have rear defences right?

that will depend on how "you" kit it out! ;)
I used to list PC parts here, but "the best" will suffice!

I'm waiting to see if you can set up an RSLG-optimized Skunk.
Admitting you have a problem is the first step in figuring out how to make it worse.

A rolling demo would be great. I enjoyed a rolling demo of X3:R very much, great visuals and music. Hope they try to do something artistic again. And even better, they do it soon.

I don't think it would smell all that bad what with entropy, the near vacuum of space, and all.

@ BarrenEarth: I have noticed you using that cheeseburger expression in a few Rebirth threads now. Firstly it is unconstructive and off-topic spam, and secondly at least one Online Slang definition for it is decidedly unsavoury. Please stop spamming and using that term here.

A video every week, with some pictures which show a game between alpha and bêta version (at least, may be between beta version and gold version), i think that we will the first communication at the E3 for a release date of October-December.

A game can't stay too much in development, it's just fatal.

Please give us a tomorrow release! Please, please, please!

Okay, that's probably not happening but June? June, June, June!

I can't wait until December  Just patch in the last 20% of the game, I don't mind

They should just put some advertising on this forum and use the extra income for speeding up development or hiring a PR guy to make videos and keep us up to date on how far the game actually is. The other day I almost bought a ship on Star Citizen out of shear boredom.
If it ain't Dutch, it ain't much.

I think a lot of people would mind. ;) Reading into what they say about the game (a number of small improvements and no huge problems) I'm hopeful it will be released way before december.
That said, I have just started playing through all Final Fantasy games. I have enough timesinks. Please don't release too soon.

I prefer a game finished. Don't want another Simcity 2013 with 6 months of missing development...
