haha yes the idea is for you to be able to merge the bsg universe with the xuniverse and do the vanilla plots too! they should all be available!

im not quite sure what you mean with your second question (upd 1). Are you asking why the models of the mkII and VII where replaced with newer ones, and why the mk II no longer has the battle scared textures? if so i couldn't tell you, ive only just joined the team you see!

i havent come across your second problem... ile have a look into it but i doubt it has anything to do with the mod!

Hope i sort of helped. what language do you speak out of interest?

I'm Russian =) You know, we have big community of x-univerce fans here, that's the reason for Egosoft to make Russian translation for X-series =) Anyway, I prefer to play English version in case of mod's compatibility...

By the way, I've read here about your's plans for X Rebirth =) Devs promiced great SDKs and other tools for modding X Rebirth, but we probably will not be able to fly vipers on our own and so on in case of only one(!) available ship for direct control (Albion Pride, which is M6 in AP) =( Anyway, I've already pre-ordered it on Steam and w8ing for 15th =)

Oh i can think of a variety of ways you will be able to fly vipers haha, you can fly drones right, substitute vipers in for the drones change the way the launch from the ship, you can fly them and not get killed!! haha just a speculation but i dont see why it wouldnt work.

that is an amazing model, but i dont think thats from this mod.... or this game for that matter. The background looks like something from the nexus jupiter indecent bsg mod!... ile see if i can find another version and maybe include it in the update!

ahhh thought you might be!! thats pretty cool about the russian translation!

Yeah, you're right, this pick could be not from x3, but it looks like that model. It may be from here: http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php? ... sc&start=0
Then Killerog continued this mod by his own. So, I suppose, original models probably were made by Hawkbs...

Here's the link for video where you can see MK VII old model, but I can't find any for MK II

Russian "undo-English" is so obvious?))

UPD: Anyway, I've seen that models in Killerog's version, i'm sure, so he could have them even now. If you can contact him, you could ask for them. I don't know, maybe there was some reason to change models..

Not at all, i'm glad to help even with the info) I'd like to do more, but I don't have any skills in 3Ds Max and scripting =( I've only done some things in T files on my own and changed things in X3Editor...

Anyway, if I could help with some sort of things (like testing something), i'll be glad to do so =)

UPD1: I've already played 25 hours (ingame time with SETA), but had no cylone spawn at all too =)

UPD2: Were combat ranks changed or I've just missed something?) I can't start terran plot for some reasons. As I remember, I should have some combat rank to get the plot, but my rank is colonel for now... and I don't found any info for this rank apart from it was used in Argon-Split anti-khaak missions in the TC

It seems that MaxVatutin is having the same problem as I am with missing Cylon Attacks.

IIRC you need combat Rank of Captain and a "reasonable" Terran Rank (Regional Representative?)

I have had the same problem which goes away using the same save game with BSG 3.0.1 installed.
I have tried re-downloading and re-installing 3.0.2 but the problem remains.

So.......... OK with first Cylon attack on finding Galactica but:

With BSG 3.0.1 installed everything is fine - I get further Cylon attacks.

With BSG 3.0.2 installed I get NO further Cylon attacks.

I have the following scripts installed:

SCS411 TECSSG
Cycrows Cheats
JSONParser Library
NPC Bailing add-on
TOA to Gate Conversion

Hope this can be resolved.

Still a great Mod!

So with anybody Defender blue didn't remain? I can do nothing, round it all killed, and it both was such and remained! I don't know what to do already...

Sound like you have a few problems because the Terran Plot should have started for you!

Have you tried a new download and re-install?

I'll try re-installation later, hope it won't require new game start...

The same thing =) Anyway, I don't use it because I don't have enough money to supply two bigships for now =)

Another problem.. The Xenon Hub Plot don't starts at all =( I have required rating and complited main plot, Atreas HQ is revealed, but nothing happens =(

You need to capture the Defender with Marines.

It's ok, just use boarding pods instead of TP and disable commands for turrets to be shure you won't destroy Defender

I have not had that problem. The Defender's hull was down to 15% when I captured it and that seemed to be strong enough. If your defender's hull is too low, try repairing with your repair laser.

Edit:

are your marines fully trained up to 5*? If not they may damage the hull.

Clean reinstallation didn't change anything =( No messages or anything... I don't want to start new game before 3.0.3, cause it should be soon...

The new update will include:

- new models for some of the ships (more detail ect.), new ships!

- new turret models, and also unique turret models for some specific ships (valkyrie and Berzerk curiser)

- new weapons

- weapon and ship balancing

- unique weapon icons!

- All written messages you may receive have now been checked and corrected for spelling!

- 'Betty' voices for all new objects
