what ships u run cags on ??? cuz i found that even 1500 minimum ecels is alot of times to less and cags stuck some whre on otehr side of galaxy . but im alowing my cags jump to 90 sector range so they basically jump around whole universe .

I am personally using this formula: jump range * 2 + emergency supply (jumping from enemies) and never had problem. Normally my CAGs carry 400 EC, but their jump range is only 15 jumps (and stations are always empty).

Exceptions are supply bases (own EQ, Saetan's Docks) - jump range 50, EC storage 1500 EC.

Yeah, I guess it's really some ECell issue, with increased ECell I experienced no problems so far.

BTW an another question: in X3:R there was a feature where CAG (or CLS?) could fly faster with half shiled with some extension installed. Is it still available in X3:TC?

Greetings All....

Couple of simple questions.....

How much cash can the SubAccount hold???
(Player = $2B)
(Each station/hub =$2B)

I seem tp have trounble location this global administration screen....

"Global administration

.....There are two ways the global administration menu can be opened. The first is with a hotkey that can be set, and the second is a command in the general menu on the player's command console when docked. "

Can someone elaboarate on this. I cannot locate the hotkey setting or the command in the general menu...

My CAG's wont buy anything

I set up acouple on a newly built drone station but all they do it stay docked saying they are on stand by. I have fiddiled with every option and reset to default, I have all the software installed, and i read the whole manual... I cannot figure out why none of them will buy anything... There are no enemies in the home sector. Any ideas please?

Loving the CAG mod so far, however I am having one issue.

For some reason the CAG's assigned to my complex refuse to sell a specific ware, even though it has passed the threshold set.

Argnu beef is sitting at about 95-99% (its an intermediate product) and I have the "Sell Intermediate Products" set at 20%.

If I read the manual correctly, that means that they will sell any intermediate products that go over 20%. So is there any particular reason they refuse to touch my Argnu Beef?

Just to clarify (and my sincere apologies, I'm sure this has been explained)...is the Commercial Agent only available in modded TC?

I'm a reasonably green X3-gamer and currently waiting for the superpack to arrive to be able to play again (I'm working in NZ and my copy of TC is back home on the other side of the globe in Finland)....trying to read up about trading to start anew in a month or two and get it right this time hehe...intending to play vanilla.

Actually you posted in the bonus pack topic of the commercial agent. Scripts of the bonus pack are signed by egosoft and don't cause a modified in your savegame.

Hello - one question: I recently did a full re-install of X3TC including the latest version of the bonus package. Now when I load my safegames, I get spammed all-over with messages from my CAG's (and the few CLS's). What could have happened?

I know I have been running the original bonus package (where the automatic naming would get you a *modified* tag) a few months back. Could something concerning the messaging service have changed in this script?

I thought to start playing in my relaxed X3TC universe, but it's turned to total chaos! HELP!

I just noticed that Commercial Agents Complex Administration is not reporting silicon consumption values correctly.

Currently I have a complex with 3 silicon mine Ls on 3x 30 yeild asteroids, 2 crystal fab Ls (split), 2 Chelts Ls, 2 Rastar Ls, and a SPP XL.
The Crystal Fab Ls use 30 silicon every 8 minutes total.
The Silicon mine Ls (30) make 15 Silicon every 1:18 minutes total.

Complex Administration reports:
Silicon Wafers (Production 11,538/Consumption 6,240)

The correct ratio of Production to Consumption right now is more than 3:1, but reported by Complex administration is less than 2:1. I've been using this to help control my complex growth, but instead it made me sweat the silicon when I didn't need to.

Edited: The correct line for Silicon Wafers I calculated to be:
Silicon Wafers (Production 11,538/Consumption 3,750)

I am of course ignoring the fact that in the English version of the mod the ',' should be replaced with a '.' but no need to quibble the minors.

Corrected: It's the silicon consumption value that is incorrect.

is it possible to block a type of station using cag
the reason is i've got a main foods complex, meatsteaks bofu that sort of thing and a secondary resources complex to sell secondary resources but i don't want the secondary resources complex to sell the delexian wheat to the cahoona bakerys(AIs not mine) just don't want to help the competition but i can't be assed to block each and evey station i don't want to sell to

Can't seem to get the bonus pack to work. I'm using the newest version of X3 TC from Steam and I think I managed to point the installation to the right folder (Program Files (x86) - Steam - steamapps - common - x3 terran conflict). The version of the game I'm using is 3.0 and I have no other mods installed.

Can anyone help?

Guys, please help asap
Flying high in X-tended now, but for some reasons commercial agent do not work correctly with low prices at stations, i still receiving resources from traders for max price.
How to set up lowest price (12 cr) for sale Energy Cell(max what i can set up only 13 cr)???
All 10 slots for station after adjustment remain "none"
i checked "administration", pricing is activated, but what am i doing wrong???

just done something stupid! been a long time since i played this! just installed the unsigned version of thsi which overwrote some files! can i just install the bonus package and play the game or do i need to uninstall the older scripts and libaries? ty

Lucike is one of a few modders that work clean.
It is safe to replace old bonus pack files. In fact you should do that. :wink:
A script takes care of the installation.

i think its ok! what i meant is i installed the seperate cag scripts b4 i realised they are in the bonus package! but i guess the scrips are the same neway! dont care if the game is modified as it already was! cheers
