Did you install the emp mod?

Nope, that would cause the wares to show up as AZ-blablabla.

They were just blank, seems like i have figured it out though, cause i didnt close the plugin manager before starting X3TC. Closing it before starting the game seems to have solved the problem.

the ware files are created when the program exists, so if you leave it running the ware files wont exist, so you end up with blank entries

the same is true if you install ships, u must always close the manager before running the game

First let me say I've used a lot of your scripts Cycrow and I'm very appreciative of this one and others, but I think there's a bug with the adv. jumpdrive. If you comm. a station or ship while initiating an advanced jump it activates the jump immediately negating the wait. This is without the additional software component that removes the jump time.

The negative side affect is this process is somehow affecting combat/trank rank to some degree I haven't sorted out. I tested this a few times, and after three or four of these bugged instant jumps your combat rank drops to zero. I'm no scriptor and don't claim to know why this is happening I've just narrowed it down to this script mod.

A normal practice for me would be to check a mission out see where it wants me to go, engage the jump to the location and then comm the station and accept the mission, which is how I found this bug in the first place.

I uninstalled everything but the adv. jump spk and was able to reproduce the bug. Just a heads up, thanks again for all of your work on X3TC mods/scripts.

not sure y it would effect the combat rank, but i know what causes the bug

it'll be fixed in the next version

Hey Cycrow, I seem to be having some issues, and well its complicated. LV told me to post in this thread so here I am.

I am using this script and Imperial Laboratories.

Now I saw a Jump Beacon for sale in an IL shipyard so I bought it. Well its stuck there, it says its a satellite but its docked like a ship, and I can't interact with it, I can't tell it to undock, and I can't even see it in the "Landed Ships" window.

LV says he didn't add in Jump Beacons, but its your script that did. So I'm asking you how do I use the Jump Beacons and how can I get this one to undock/move or something, anything I can do.

This whole situation is confusing and I just want to buy jump beacons to put in terran space lol

there is an option to jump to beacons, but the script never actually added any beacons itself

im not sure where u got urs from

Ok so how am I supposed to use the Jump to Beacon command if I can't use Jump Beacons?

My ride is a Cerberus and the Energy Free Jumpdrive won't work, still asks for energy, what am I doing wrong?

Hi Cycrow,

Been using this since X3R, and was just wondering if you had changed the stock jump scripts to allow NPC ships to use the advanced jump drive if they had it for TC? Would be a major help if you had, or if you could even just point out how to do it so I could make the change myself....

i do plan to do that at some point, just been abit busy lately to do much in the way of scripting.

when i get abit more time to do some scripting, it will be one of the first things i look at.

althou it might just end up intergrating into the Advanced Nav script, so all of my scripts will be able to do that, ie all ships will use adv nav, adv jump, slipstream drive, turbo booster, etc, if they are all installed

Is any one else having issues with this script after the 2.7 patch ?
It just is not working for me anymore.

Works well with me at 2.7.
You might want to un-install and then reinstall the script.
That usually relinks any lost info.

Just installed X3TC and 2.7 patch. Unfortunately script does not work as well as Advanced Navigation Software script. Hope will be update.

Doesn't work for me either.

I have reinstalled up to 2.7.1 and only installed this and the other requirements.

I see that there is an updated emp.spk for 2.7, is the problem because the plug in manager hasn't been updated for this.

**Fixed mine by re-installing, I had installed and deleted EMP which really messed things up.

Quick tip - When re-installing and using the cheat codes to add jump drive to test if it works, switch target to yourself. Oh and set the hotkey.
