Rawr... I have a freight pilot who is willing to go to my BPAC Factory and load 1000 BPACs... but I get an error beep when telling him to unload 1000 BPAC at the nearby NPC Equipment Dock.

{0}{Argon Prime, Argon Prime BPAC Forge}{Argon Prime, Argon Prime BPAC Forge, Beta Particle Accelerator Cannon}{0}{1000}
Dock at my laser forge, load 1000 BPACs. Command Accepted.

{0}{Argon Prime, Argon Equipment Dock}{Argon Prime, Argon Prime BPAC Forge, Beta Particle Accelerator Cannon}{0}{-1000}
Dock at the equipment dock, sell 1000 BPACs. Command Rejected.

My homebase is set as my "Argon Prime BPAC Forge". The pilot is a freight pilot. What gives? I've tried changing the sale price to 1 cr with no success. Also tried erasing his homebase affiliation with no success.

Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong...

You do attempt to give the guns to NPC for free?
Price = 0 means no money transfer.
Price > 0 means, sell at station price, if it is at least Price.

And giving guns away for free ...

I said "unload" there but said "sold" later on. I want to load from my factory and sell for whatever price the equipment dock wants. Since the dock is always going to pay for the weapons, whatever sale price it gives me is always going to be at at least 0. I put in 0 so it'll sell to the equipment dock under any circumstances.

I tried setting it to 1 cr to make sure that entering 0 isn't the problem. It just refuses to accept the waypoint. Homebase or not. Can't figure out why.

Update: Tried messing around with it and CLS MK II is only accepting if I try and buy or sell something that already exists at said station. If that's the case and it's intended, then I'm going to have to go back to selling BPACs through my CAG to whereever it deems. I'd rather have a steady, if limited income through CLS MKII and an equipment dock...

That's deliberate, as far as I know.

There was a quite long thread some time back about automatically selling unlisted wares to an equipment dock, and iirc the conclusion was that you couldn't in vanilla/BP X3.

Personally, I consider automated sales to non-stocking Dock a shameless exploit. However,

Ich werde folgenden Tipp nur einmal mitteilen. Im Namen des Frachters muss das Wort "TeCo" vorkommen und zwar genau in dieser Schreibweise. Dann ist folgendes möglich:

Wegpunkt - {0} {TerraCorp Hauptquartier} {G-PIK führende Fabrik} {G-PIK} {-1} {-2}

Das ist natürlich nur mit Waffen und Schilden möglich. Es wird mit einem Wegpunkt immer nur so viel verkauft, wie ein Dock normalerweise fassen kann.

sorry if this has been answered already (not got time to read all 8 pages, about to cook dinner) but while the 100000 stock works relative to the ship, is there a way to work relative to the station?

example (and reason why i want to know) ship buys up to 500 rimes from my complex, ship buys up to 4000 ecelss from complex, ship sells rimes at PHQ until the STATION has XX stock, and sells ecells until the STATION has XX stock.

I don't see this on the quickstart guide. Is it a matter of I just don't see it, or isnt it supported?

It sounds like you want CLS1 or CAG with Dockware rather than using CLS2.

I had considered the mk1 but the fear is of having a PHQ full of ecells and short of room for the other materials I need. The supposed ware limits dont seem to be enforcing and this is the only script ive seen so far that uses actual numbers in it's trading controls

Both CAG and CLS1 should obey Dockware limits.

UTs and NPCs won't, however - that may be the source of your problem.

It might be that a CAG that does not have PHQ as home will ignore the limit as well. After last Bonuspack update I had a CAG from nearby SPP that did flood the PHQ, as the CAG Barrier didn't update on PHQ properly.

But a CAG buyer for PHQ and a CLS1 delivery to PHQ both do obey very nicely.

must say i really never figured out CAG in the slightest. CLS tends to have a slightly complex interface, but it looks like it doesn obey the dock limits, so it's obeying now. All i need now is to figure out how best to train up my CLS ships, the consumption rate of the HQ is too low to demand much from them so they dont train much >.<

Just use CLS2 to train them up - load 1 ecell at NPC station A, unload 1 ecell at NPC station B, or similar.

erm, just how long does that sort of training take? after 2 days ferrying single e cells between my own stations they remain apprentices. I put them for 4-5 hours between npc stations too.

Is it based purely on flight hours then? and if so what sort of order of time should I be expecting?

2 hours flight time per level.

Did you install Trading System Extension?

Erm...Possibly not, I'll have to check, there are some things I don't always bother putting on. If not, then cheers >.<

The simplest solution may be the best, but the most embarassing solution is the most likely to happen.

Please help me out here...I can't seem to understand this in abstract terms, but maybe I'll get it if I can work it in a concrete situation. I'd dig through the thread but my back's killing me at the moment.

I have 1 freighter, 1 complex (Cattle M, Cahoona M, Silkworm Missile Fab), and 1 ore mine. They're all under my ownership. I want the freighter to go to the ore mine, pick up up to 400 units, fly to the complex, and empty itself of all of it (whether some was left behind from a previous haul or not). What do I put in to set it up?

Also, even after putting in 1,0,0 under the configure command, the report still says it has 4 interim stops. How do I clear them?

If you're just doing a one-way transfer (ore to the complex) you'd probably be better off using a CLS1 ship homebased to the mine.
