Anyway, Lutzie will probably be happy to hear that the guides themselves arent writen in leet language...

Although, IMHO, there is nothing new in those guides... but then again, ive been playing X2 for a year now...

Good for the newbies though

- the satisfaction of having helped someone (hopefully)
- the fact that teh FAQ is not based on Ship specs. and does not have extensive details on the ships.

Locking stops you adding new posts. Stops you editing what's there too.

With regard to the "1337" titles - they'll appeal to the younger audience for sure, but it's likely to just be a turnoff to most people over the age of 18.

What audience are you targetting with these guides?

??? Of course they're based on ship specs!!!

I don't know why we bothered doing it at all now... No one uses it... and everyone complains about its content... Not a single person has a good word about the FAQ...

Has anyone from the community thanked the FAQ team??? NO!!!!

We don't mind not being thanked but I don't see any reason why we need to endure everyones constant criticism of it...

Then you shouldn't have contributed to/published it. Anything on the Internet is open to critisism. Anyone that's been on the internet for more than 10minutes knows that. If you can't stand critisism, don't publish.

Sure, it gets tiring after the 1,000,000th person says "but it doesn't have....", but at least it means they're reading them - and surely that's a good start?

I think its nice that you do this .. but with what reason?? .. every one can see al ships specs by checking the docks .. so this would only be helpfull if you'r lazy .. or a newb. .. this just from my point of view ...

I'm not complaining .. just saying that what youre doing .. is a nobel and o so glorias thing to do .. but it hasnt got very much use .. exept for very lazy gamers that is ..
