Yes, the expedition did wrap up quickly after the slog. Well done on finding the 'S' class freighter, I built an 'S' class fighter and gave it a tiger stripe paint scheme.

Note: If you assemble a ship without finalising the built, you can see the supercharge slot layout, if you don't like the layout, back out of the build, teleport to another station, each station will give a different supercharge slot layout.

Dont know if anyone else experienced this, but The Swarm Expedition final battle can last quite a bit longer.
Maybe its because I was quite relaxed about how I took it on.
But I got wave after wave of glass shard swarms, and instead of then going for the Hive I watched for a few seconds and then more waves came (topped up shields periodically).
After battling them I went for the Hive, and it vanished to another system.
So then you go to the new system and start over the process. But this time when I got to the Hive I finished it off.
Had a couple of multiplayer pilots in the same battle, and when we landed after talking to Atlas we did a little dance before taking off again.
Quite enjoyable, and a much bigger battle than anything I have seen before in NMS, much better than Sentinel space battles.
I guess it depends how you approached it, I wanted it to be a 3 course meal instead of a snack.
Hope this is a sign of things to come with big battles incorporated in other scenarios in future.
Only snag with this game is its designed by Hellogames to be Kid & Granny friendly.

My fighter was tuned for DPS, so basically I ignored the swarms, destroying only those that fired at me, and went straight for the hive lasers, before turning towards the hive body, and ripped it down. Originality my Photon cannon had a DPS of 27073, but I found it to be a bit of a glass cannon, so I dropped it down to 15000+, and put a bit into the shields and manoeuvrability, better balanced.

I swapped into Sentinel Ship and Infra Knife was the way to go.... (something like 67000dps).

Did you have all the supercharged slots grouped together, to get those kind of numbers?
