So, i have a problem, i start a new open universe game with the usual mods i used for years, vro, ship variation expansion, xr ship pack, more rooms for ships (adds compatibility and fixes for ship packs as well as rooms), as well as the approrpiate vro compatibility patches, the game runs above 100 fps, according to the fps counter, my fps never drops below that, but the game stutters every 3-4 seconds for a second or two, its really annoying, if i disable the mods its fine, but if i enable them, the stuttering happens, but there is no fps drop, not even when the game is stuttering. i havent played in months since the latest update 8.0 hf4, it was either that update or hf3 that caused the stuttering, before that, the game ran fine, for years, i have been using these mods without a problem.
i tried some of the fixes detailed on these forums too, i reinstalled drivers using clean install, i reinstalled the game, i tried using steam versions of the mods instead of the nexus ones and vise versa, messing with the sound settings in the config file, nothing helped so far.
system info:
i7 9700 8 core
rtx 4070
54gb ddr4 ram
the game is on a 2tb ssd
my operating system is win 11
any advice or help would be appreciated.

Re: [8.0 current] stuttering with mods
You will have to install the mods one at a time to find out which one is causing it, and then take the matter up with that mod's author. We can't provide Tech Support on someone else's work.
