Hi all,

Does anyone have this installed or as a download (from Nexus mods)?

Nebula-Class guided laser destroyer V1.1

Available Language: English(44) / Japanese(81)

Now features Polaris-class heavy destroyer. The artillery variant of Nebula-class.


I updated my OS and when I reinitialised my steam library my X4 save is broken (i assume it tried to renew all the subscribed content).

I downloaded the below version from steam last year and it later got deleted from steam and broke my save. I found it on Nexus and reinstalled it (but didn't keep the zip file). Now its deleted from Nexus as well (author has deleted their acc). I did find some versions via web archive but they are earlier versions and will not fix my save file.

I am looking for the final version:

Unfortunately this mod author has a tendency to delete his account(s) and disappear, then come back with a fresh one a while later.
A quick search yielded me this URL for supposedly 1.1 version: https://www.nexusmods.com/x4foundations ... le_id=9960, but it doesn't look to be the one you're after.

If this final version was ever uploaded to Nexus you could try contacting Nexus staff about providing you with the file - Nexus is (in)famous for archiving everything, even if the modder decided to delete their mod.

If that doesn't work, you could try modifying the content.xml file by changing version= to something higher than 110, lastupdate= value to a much higher one and save= to 0. This, theoretically, should allow you to load your game, save it, then disable that mod permanently.
Alternatively - you could try asking on Egosoft's Discord - it is quite a bit more active than the forums and somebody who has the file might be willing to share it. Or you get lucky here, but that might take a while.

Thank you... I did find an archive ver but as you said, not the right one. I will try those other options, hadn't actually thought to ask Nexus Mods!
