X3TC steering don't work on the right analog stick

Hello,

Maybe someone has an idea? I'd be very grateful.

I'm playing with an Xbox-style controller, and the game recognizes all the buttons except the right analog stick. I can't steer with it in any direction.

Even if I swap the functions on the two analog sticks, the left stick still doesn't work.

Well there's this somewhat elderly guide although the working driver source seems to depend on which precise controller model and whether it is wired or wireless. It certainly seems that the solution is in finding another 3rd party driver or control interface app.
