I don't know if this is a mod issue or what. My pilots will continue with whatever order was given them even after I've boarded and taken the ship to unknown locations. I have to constantly cancel all orders when I want to disembark or I get stranded. Why are the old orders not being discontinued when I take the ship? I didn't used to have this problem, years ago.
It's been a few years since I last played X4. I've been enjoying the X universe since the beginning. I don't believe I've ever had to ask questions here. Now this is the second question I've had to ask within a week. I must be getting dumber.
I would just like to know if this is a setting in the base game, or will I have to spend hours trying to figure out a mod issue. I have a lot of mods. Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.
Ok, found the global orders. They should be waiting for me. Starting to think its a mod discrepancy.

Lots of mods = No idea how we can usefully advise you.
There has always been the faint vanilla possibility of ships retaining orders, behaviours or mission requirements from their lives before being boarded, but this is much exacerbated when third party mods allow things to happen differently than the devs had foreseen.
I'll give one example but there are many others: A third party UI mod allows a mission critical ship that is normally unboardable to be boarded by the player, but unfortunately said mod does not prevent the mission from despawning the ship when a timer has counted down or a requirement is met and so the player loses the ship and crew anyway.

That's why I try not to ask many questions about a modded game. I was just wondering if there was a vanilla issue. Thanks for the assist.Alan Phipps wrote: ↑Wed, 4. Feb 26, 21:02 Lots of mods = No idea how we can usefully advise you.
