Hello,
is there a problem with the recommended settings by Nvidia? I am been playing the game with an Nvidia RTX 3060Ti for a while now, and at maximum settings. Only to see if I can get a better visual quality out of it did I look at the Nvidia settings in Nvidia APP. For unknown reasons, Nvidia is recommending much lower settings for this game. Am I doing something wrong or are these settings drastically off? I certainly have no stuttering or other performance issues, and the game is running smoothly at 75fps on an ultra-widescreen monitor with 2560x1080 pixels. I have no idea why Nvidia would recommend lowering the settings. For example, it wants to turn off AA, shadows, reduce the rendering depth, and much more. Perhaps Nvidia needs to update its recommendations, unless I am missing something here.
Also, is there a way to get better anti-aliasing? Even at 8xAA are edges on some structures very aliased. The game only appears to use anti-aliasing on some of the 3D objects, but not all. I would love to run it with DLDSR, but it is not supported, unfortunately.

Re: Nvidia Recommended Settings
Generally speaking, Egosoft discourage the use of 3rd party game profilers and overlays to set up X games. There have been a few reports of them unnecessarily introducing in-game issues or degrading the game display or gameplay quality. This is likely because with so many different system hardware, display and connection, driver, and software combinations out there, one size just cannot fit all. Experimenting with game and driver settings to achieve a gameplay and display quality you like on your own system is likely a better course of action.
As to the best anti-aliasing, that really falls under the situation above too. That said, this older thread including dev input may give you some ideas.
