Yasur woes and not being able to claim it.

Finally I bought the DLC pack that it was hiding behind. Mainly due to only playing modded play throughs. I am logged into the online features at the start menu. when i Check if I am logged in it says self which is interesting. but I try logging in and it just says self. I try logging in improperly and it says wrong password. So once I feel that I am logged in right I goto the player inventory and there is no option to switch from inventory to venture inventories.

I also went onto the forums disconnected my steam and reconnected it. the interesting part with that it shows several x3 links but only one for x4.

Id really like the ship thanks

What do you mean by "it says self" when you are logged in?

First thing I'd try is right click on the game, go to properties -> installed files and then verify the game integrity in case the ventures extension isn't updated properly or otherwise corrupted. Because this does sound like you're not getting logged in properly (unless your username is somehow "self", which I doubt).

save game loaded some reason its slogged in as self. So I log back in and it goes back to self.

Correct, I am using mods. I understood that the content would be available without the need of ventures. But it would infact show up in the ventures inventory.

I have same issue as original poster.

With 7.5 and earlier, the Yasur could be claimed in a modified game. In version 8 this appears to no longer be the case.

There are some mods which will work being enabled after the game start. Other mods not so much. Do we need to be strictly un-modded to claim the Yasur?

So are you saying that it is entirely impossible to get this paid dlc ship without ventures? If the game is modded?

If your using certain mods then the online content is disabled by the mod. If you don't know which ones it is, I will hint at kuertees UIX.

Disable mods, claim yasur, enable mods.

So it is not becoming a 3rd party search. I paid for a DLC and its not showing up. I would love to just get an answer how to get it. it shouldnt be blocked by mods. As the last I heard ventures are currently turned off anyways.

You did indeed pay for a DLC. But your using a mod that is doing things. Turn off Sirnukes, get your Yasur, Turn it back on. Hope nothing breaks in the middle.

This did it, shut off sir nukes and it showed up. Ill send him a message letting him know its conflicting with this.
