Not modified, after 8.0 and all dlcs, it keeps crash randomly while doing nothing specific, and no dump file was created only application crashing events found in window event viewer, no crash windows pop up, just game freeze and close after few sec.

Re: 8.0 HF3 keep randomly crash
Without crashdumps it's hard to be sure, but it seems likely that you've fallen victim to the Intel 13th/14th generation CPU fault. You may be able to fix this with a BIOS update, as long as it hasn't progressed far enough to damage the CPU itself.

Re: 8.0 HF3 keep randomly crash
As a sanity check, it's worth doing a verify of the game folder, just in case.
I did try to load your save, but get a "Missing Extension" error.
Missing, old or disabled extensions:
- Multiverse Team Seasons (ego_dlc_ventures - 1.25) missing.
I don't even know what that is, I have all the DLC...well, except that one. Do I have to sign up for Ventures for it to be installed or something?
Edit: I just read elsewhere that this DLC was explicitly for Beta testing, and isn't supposed to be used in a regular game... could it be causing crashes as it's not intended for regular play?

That model of CPU is well known to have major stability and degradation issues on older BIOS/UEFI versions. Make sure your motherboard BIOS/UEFI are up-to-date. If not caught soon enough the CPU might be permanently damaged and either require manual underclocking or even replacement. CBJ has already mentioned this but I feel that I should reiterate it as it is an extremely common issue that I have seen many people with these high-end CPUs suffer from across many different games.i9-13900K

Re: 8.0 HF3 keep randomly crash
i just updated all driver, bios/UEFI. and it still happens. it only happens after the 8.0 updates though, previously it works fine. since x4 not generated any crash report on it own, so i checked the windows event viewers it only give me a exception code: 0xc0000005, Access Violation error indicating a program tried to access memory it shouldn't have, often caused by corrupt system files, faulty hardware like RAM, outdated drivers, or software conflicts. so i think if it is not the CPU's problem it might have been something to do with conflict with other apps, or something similar, but still trying to figuring it out.Imperial Good wrote: Fri, 24.
