Hi,
I tried to add some ships to the game, but whenever I place them into game, they get destroyed after a few seconds. Even if they are built via blueprint and docked to the HQ, they get destroyed.
Any idea whats going on and how to stop that?

Even just copied ship in the Tships will cause the "new" ships to be destroyed in game.

Back in the days I made some ships for myself and one of them refused flatly to appear in whole games line-up from Reunion to FL.
But this is definitely something utterly new for me
Which global (or not quite global) mod do you playing with? Have it something to do with Litcube universe, cos it looks like a scripting prank

I didn't know that there are so many good mods out there, so I'm playing a lot of them

In Fl it's the Combo Mod: viewtopic.php?t=456297
But I'm sure that behaviour is known. If I remeber right, I had the same problem years ago when I played FL first (when is came out). Will check with the vanilla game.
Edit: damn this is related to the MOD. In the vanilla game the ships won't get destroyed.
Edit2: I'm confused: first I tried with the Xperimental of the XTended Mod I guess -> boom. After that I tried with ships of the Star Wars Mod (also includes in EMC4AP) -> boom. Now I tried with an unfinished ship of the MG Mod I transfered in EMC4AP (fixed some scene errors). This one gets not destroyed. It's called M4 Kopesh from Cadius? The only thing that's different to the other ships is that there is no need to load additional textures.

Hm this is not only happaning to new ships. For testing I spawned a Acient transporter and that one got destroyed as well.

Just found out that it has something to to with the weapons. I claimed a abandoned mutated spacefly. After that, the "ship" got destroyed. So I edit a ship to support that laser, spawned it and it got destroyed. Removed the laser and it doesn't get destroyed.
Topic solved:
The laser gourp "SG_LASER_TELADI_LIGHT" has been modified to hold that spacefly lasers. Every ship that is compatible with that laser group and owned by the player gets destroyed.

Got similar issue with ships. While trying to view one using Shipbrowser got "boom" and screen turned to full black. Jumping to another sector brought display back to live. Anyway, the issue was conflict in ship's settings - I changed it Class from M6 to TS, but forgot about Subtype.
So, speaking of weapons. Back in the days, there was some proud 3D-modellers who did take measures to prevent player's attempt to install an extra ships, but what you have here is IMHO clearly a mods conflict.

This will happen if you add ships to this mod.
To prevent ships from exploding, simply do not assign them the Player race.
If you plan to use them as a player, do not allow these ships to be equipped with the following types of weapons: Ancient weapons MK1, Ancient weapons MK2, Ancient weapons MK3, Fly cannon 1, Fly cannon 2.

This is done so that players cannot use cheat weapons in the game, which would turn them into gods
