Didn't see that one coming, just two weeks after his final, final concert, I suppose that means it was actually his final time, so sad.

Yes, I thought he was going to soldier on into his 90's, but maybe his younger lifestyle decreased that somewhat.

Glad he got to go out soon after doing what he has loved all his life, while still having most of his mental lights on (I think anyway, maybe he was worse and needed more propping up than we know recently).

Trusting, genuine character, who didn't mince his words. Loved him.

As others posted elsewhere, a piece of trash known as Charlie Kirk has been killed:

Kirk frequently repeated Trump’s false claims that former Vice President Kamala Harris was directly responsible for all immigrants who were in the U.S. illegally. He called George Floyd, a Black man whose death by a Minneapolis police officer sparked a national debate over racial injustice, a “scumbag.”

He espoused culturally conservative views, advocating for gun rights, condemning abortion, holding up women as wives and mothers — and men as heads of households.

He was a vile, reprehensible human being who will probably be missed only by those who shared his ideas. He shouldn't have been killed, in the name of freedom of speech he should've been able to continue to express his hateful views. Here's more of that trash in his own words:
