I thought I would have another bash at Albion Prelue - Gonna Get Me ALL the Achievements this time and then consider it a done deal.

Finished main plot
On the food gathering for the Hub at the moment
Small Weed / Booze setup in Savage Spur
3 x SPPXL complex in Akeela's - this made me broke having been at around 100 Million.
Wheat Farms in President's End
CAGs for everything
CLS2 for general economy maintenance.
I don't build self sustaining complexes - I build complexes for products, and for intermediates, and for resources. For example I buy the wheat from the AI at the cheapest price and sell MY wheat TO the AI at the highest price I can get.


I am just curious about something though - I found an Interceptor in Ghinn's Escape. It was damaged and blue with shields and alpha kyons. I didn't shoot it so I have no idea where it came from - Could it be a "free ship" that's generated by the game?

It's an old game these days but the game play is as good as it ever was and very rewarding. The replayability of X3 is second to none. My PC is overkill for it I'm getting 60fps solid ( I always use vsync because my monitors are 60hz ) and my GPU fans are not spinning. But that's fine. I do have X4 too. Which I need to get back into.

Can someone tell my why my CAG is hung up? They are just sitting there, there's a full cargo bay of wafers available and a place to sell within 4 jumps and it's just on standby. There are 2 CAGs on this station, both mistral SF, maybe the returning one already has a plan to take the wafers when it drops off the energy cells?

Answering my own question again - yes that's exactly what happened. Perhaps I don't need 2 CAGs but it's a pair of Silicon mines at 70 and 72 yield so I thought 1 per station at least. but perhaps not.

I have the hub inserted between Megnir and Segaris

I am dropping Weed and booze off at the hub·

I can doc at terran stations in border sectors

Terrans and ATF are set to friendly

The hub allows other races to trade

The terrans are NOT buying my weed and booze!

Can anyone tell me why?

The Terrans don't use weed and space fuel, they will only buy wares that they actually use.

You really should be trading with pirates instead.

Also note that it can take time before they start buying from you.

I was specifically trying to gain Terran Rep by getting them drunk and happy. I never realised this whole time that they simply didn't partake.

I will set up CLS to sell them energy instead as that's all I can sell them right now. I could try and get in silicon and ore but that's much harder as there are no jump gates past Megnir. I get all the main factions buying from the hub, the best bit is I can scan them in boron space on the way out, force them to drop their illegal wares and put it right back up for sale (If I feel I need something different to do )

I do sell to pirates as well of course. I got a Station hack for a PBG Forge in Maelstrom so I can fill that up with goodies.

I've got a SEWN sat in Segaris which I use to help me clobber Xenon.

Turns out Terrans DO use Space fuel. They're just not buying.

I've set up a CLS2 to trade energy in terran space ( Adrin2 and Megnir)

I am Terran Local Councillor and ATF Outer Sysetms. I can buy and sell energy [and a number of other things too] but my CLS2 is just spending hours on standby even though I've told it to buy 10 ecells at max and sell at minimum to always guarantee a trade ( and build rep ).

I've even set it to make a profit just in case it was refusing to make a loss but it still just sulks. It will buy the e-cells but will not sell them, even though the trade conditions are met. If I manually tell it to go and sell it works.
Neither could I get a CLS in a TS to jump into Megnir and sell eCells from my SPP. Indeed all 8 CAGs from my SPP Complex could be selling to Megnir and Alrdin 2 but they don't


Is it still reputation based? Or could it be because I have the Hub inserted between Segaris and Megnir?

My rep with the terrans is rising slowly though I don' know how. I am now Terran Regional Rep 73%
Yet that CLS I have in terran space set to make a profit of 1 credit has done nothing in over 10 hours and I have never seen any of my other CAGS or CLS make a run into terran space ( I have War Zones blacklisted )

I've told my Laser Tower production to stop selling and I'm going to drop 40 or so in Segaris near the gate to the xenon sector. That will definitely provide some passive rep boost.
