X3FL CTD, crash sometimes during combat Vanilla, no moded x3.

Did you have X3TC and/or X3AP installed, before the installation of X3FL? If so, make sure that those installations are also unmodified.
Dxdiag looks fine, as far as I can tell. Maybe check if disabling one of the sound devices has an effect.
It also worth to look into this report by Lwerewolf about limiting framerates.

All of them are unmodified for steam achievements.

Limiting Framerate to 60FPS seems working at first time. No CTD during play.
but I experience CTD yesterday during fighting Xenon K. It was so sad...

Best I can tell, this crash seems to happen when you're being aimed at by turrets of an enemy capital ship, while not looking at it directly. It's pretty frequent, sadly. You make a run at him, shooting his shields, pass him by, fly forward for a while to get outside of the range of his weapons, then try to make a turn to start another run at him - and that's when the game goes down.

Did anyone ever figure this bug out?
I have the same issue as the above,
I've finally gotten around to playing X3:FL, 80 hours in, loving it, but when I fight Xenon K or Duke's/Yaki with several M6 for an assassination mission, the game often crashes just like described by Delray above! So when I fly past them as their turrets fire at me, the game randomly crashes to Desktop without even an error.
Happened a few times when playing Vanilla already, happened again plenty of times since applying the unofficial patch to 1.3.18. I have since done a complete reinstall of the game from scratch (and of TC and AP just to make sure nothing was modified in any way), but these combat crashes still happen.
It's hard to report on exact frequency of those crashes before and after modifying the game with the unofficial patches because I wasn't fighting in that weight class as much before, but the crashes seem consistent across game versions. Not something that I can recall happening to me in X3:TC or X3:AP on the same PC.
Running out of ideas what else to try, it's a major killjoy. I guess I'll try to make a habit of saving the game more often but it's during the most fun parts of combat that the game then crashes.

(18 years reading these lovely forums without ever posting, and then I post in a two-year-old thread about specific game crashes in a game almost nobody else plays anymore... )
