my bet is that Trump will do everything Putin wants at the end

if you keeping score, Trump haven't required anything from Russia nor done anything beyond what Biden did.

but Trump have said things that are in line with Putin's view.

and considering whatever mental illness Trump has, all he has to do is only to follow up on what he said, and Putin will be happy

nothing we saw contradicts my prediction yet, and you all know it

Nah, as I said before - Trump might be dumb, but Putin and Russia is dummer.

Ukraine seems to be slowly figuring out how to handle Big Orange, but Russia is far too deep into their own delusions, desperation, pride and warmongering to placate Trump - it's only a matter of time.

Best they can is to stall and muddle negotiations for a few weeks, till Orange will loose patience.

This is what concessions to Kremlin mean. This is what Trump and Trump supporters would also be responsible for. As Putin and Putin supporters already are.

I've been having a hard time ascertaining the status of Kursk. For days, Russia has been saying that Ukraine solders in that area have been surrounded and are defeated. Ukraine has denied this. I chalk this up to typical fog of war lies and propaganda from both sides.

Anyway, it does appear that Ukraine is trying to pull out of Kursk as best that they can. They are leaving a lot of heavy equipment behind.
BBC wrote:'Everything is finished': Ukrainian troops relive retreat from Kursk. The BBC has received extensive accounts from Ukrainian troops, who recount a "catastrophic" withdrawal in the face of heavy fire, and columns of military equipment destroyed and constant attacks from swarms of Russian drones.
Apparently, the Ukrainian incursion into Kursk is finally over.

Meanwhile, Trump and Putin are scheduled for discussions tomorrow (Tuesday). Let's hope they make progress toward cease-fire.

my hope is on French and British. Starmer did mention the next step is Ukraine's security. And someone mentioned European Union.

Both the troops on the ground and EU are "red lines" for Putin. But as Finnish PM said, you don't ask permission from Putin for what Ukraine and EU do.

as for our traitorous president, the best case if Putin doesn't get him to buy into the new world order Putin is thinking of

Putin has agreed to a 30-day ceasefire on energy infrastructure. He has already issued relevant orders. That sounds like a positive step.

Don't see that farce going anywhere as it involves sending no more weapons to Ukraine. Which won't happen.

That seems like an easy one. Ukraine-bound weapons can sit in a staging area someplace. Besides, I would think that Ukraine allies would rejoice. They can go about the business of restocking their own much depleted supplies.
Which won't happen.
I would think that is up to the negotiators. Certainly, it isn't up to those who don't want the fight to stop.

Right now there is no negotiation - only two power mongers talking to each other

Give it a few days. The two leaders agreed that "negotiations will begin immediately in the Middle East."

I will be happy If these "two power mongers" can stop the bloodshed. The only ones who aren't happy at the prospect, are those who's blind hatred of Trump/Putin, prevents them from seeing any good coming from the attempt.

They won't - as they ignore those who have to be asked. There won't be freedom as long as Trump undermines Europe.

Lets have China and India negotiate. I predict that they agree that USA must surrender to Hamas. If they do, then that must happen?
If you don't agree that USA must obey what China and India decide, then why should anyone else agree with what Trump and Putin talk?

Right now I think China is busy with laughing. And filling the economic opportunities Trump is exposing by driving the US against the wall.

This is meant as a joke, isn't it, Putin says he is not going to attack civilian energy systems for 30 days, not I'm not going to attack civilians or towns or none military targets, but civilian energy systems, it has to be a joke, only a Trump supporter would think otherwise because it is a dumb promise that only a dumb person would think is a good thing. :(

Power Outage From Russian Airstrikes in Donbas. Russia also targeted two hospitals. That lasted hours? Ukraine would have to be stupid to agree to this "deal". It's a terrible deal. Ukraine blowing up Russian oil/gas infrastructure costs Russia tons of cash and limits their economic and military abilities. It's also the start of spring/summer. Ukraine also has longer range missiles and drones now. The US should be embarrassed to even entertain this deal.

Interesting to see how Ukraine and Russia play chess with Trump on a diplomatic level so intelligently, like he is a piece on the board. Every move is carefully planned. Convincing him being in control, while he is being played with.

did you see that one of the terms one more time was repeated to Americans by Kremlin, - no (Ukrainian) military, no military aid, no foreign troops in Ukraine?

US diplomats said nothing to disagree with that.

I am shocked, it's so unexpected and shocking.

I do agree with Trump on something. Yes you can quote me on that. Putin does hold all the cards, over US.

It really seems to be that way. He feels good about the very, very good calls. And that's about it - they have no effect. 🙈

Despite all the buzz from pro-Trump and anti-Trump crowd, the simple truth right now is that Trump did literally nothing.

"Ceasefire-in-name-only" about power-plant targets - all other forms of warfare still rage, we don't even know if the power-plant deal is in effect or not (Russia seems to still bomb them few hours after the phone call).
"Taking out military support from Ukraine" - what was that? like 4 days of no material help and 3 days of no intel help - a token spite from Trump/Vance, but with minimal impact on strategic level.
Trump/Vance rambling in media and social media 5 times a day, chaging the story 3 times a day - this doesn't even count as action, just regular noise from Trump.

If that's how Trump negotiation strategy is then we'll have "3-days special negotitations"... they will probably draw till 2028 :P
