[7.50] Ventures? Update: Ventures continue

Not sure where to post this, but seems ventures is partially reactivated on my end for some reason?

Started two weeks ago, saying 'Season 1 has started' in the Venture logbook, alongside 'Operation Overture has started'
As this didn't come with anything extra to interact with or a message on forums or an announcement, I simply presumed a hiccup of some sort as the messages were identical to the venture beta test two years ago.
But today I got the announcement 'Operation Overture has ended, you earned 1 Yasur Mk I & 5 Bounty Hunter skins' & 'Operation Watchtower has started' Still nothing to interact with.

Dunno if it is a bug or there is indeed a test ongoing that I am not aware of, but somehow got partly included? The extra Yasur & skins were a nice surprise, but got me wondering what is going on.

Note, running a vanilla game, still same ongoing save as I participated with in the venture beta test two years ago.

Edit on 12/03/2025: Got a popup today that Operation Watchtower has ended & I earned 2 Spectrum skins for my 'contribution'. Operation Predawn is now in progress. Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/0Lgb8nb.jpeg
Note that when i first completed this stage of the Venture operation during the beta test two years ago, I got 1 Spectrum skin, so it isn't simply a message being duplicated

There's nothing ongoing. Maybe check the dates on those messages, as they may be very old.

That sounds like you already had one from a couple of years ago, and now you have an extra one?
If correct, I wonder if you have re-purchased the game, and registered the new game?

I originally bought X4 Foundations and all DLCs seperately from GOG, and registered the original game.
When the Community of Planets edition released, in support of Egosoft I also bought that, and again Registered it.
I found I could have 2 x Venture Platforms attached to my PHQ, and also gained a second Yasur, because I have 2 versions of the same game registered.

Somethings definitely strange, because prior to 7.50, I have always had 2 x Yasur since buying the Community of Planets, but now I have 3.

Venture Inventory showing 3 x Yasur available, I just hit the download button to get the third ..

Doublechecked after this & seems something is off as I still got the 600+ days old messages & the new ones that popped up two weeks ago (and the most recent ones being a few hours old)

Venture window says Season 1 has finished 625 days and 14 hours ago. Next message - Season 1 and first operation started 16 days and 14 hours ago.

Curious if you two still got a save or even play the savegame used for the venture beta test? As the playthrough I am on was also one used during the venture beta test. Could be the trigger for this odd Venture menu behaviour.

Venture operation has been updated today/yesterday & I got a popup about it (and some shipskins as reward), so it still seems running somehow.

Yes my saves do go back that far in X4 history, I keep continuing.

Yes, still playing my old save from years ago, which was online save at some point.

Yesterday I received some new skins too but today it looks Egosoft took down the venture servers. Was going to test a fresh save game, but had a pop up saying "downloading venture updates" or something like that on game launch and now I'm unable to log in.
