What to do when all plots are completed.....

What is there to do after all plots have been completed ? (I Still need to complete Balance of Power).
I have top rank with all races, the Pirates and Yaki no longer attack my stations/Ships on the odd occasion that they do the M7 I have in the sector easily takes out the patrol.
I can buy and fully equip a Boreus and a Tiger or Panther (With 30 fighters) every two hours.
The Xenon are being kept at bay with 2 Boreus and 4 Tigers set to defend position 20 km from each gate in Eighteen Billion/Scale Plate Green, Black Hole Sun/Thynns Abyss, Zyarths Dominion/Grand Exchange, Getsu Fune, Menelaus Paradise and TUS3. I have a Tiger or a Panther idling in almost every sector. (If I put them on patrol sector I get more Pirates attacking my stations/ships).
The Xenon don't seem to send out patrols from 101.
Equipment docks are full 80% of the time where I'm selling them the Weapons Shields and Missiles from my stations.

That question, IMHO, is the "real game". Can you invent goals, when you have seemingly "done it all" already?

I have never played AP, I have the game. It might even get installed one day. Or could I just install FL and start from there ?

If you have X3AP in your Steam/GOG account, then you can install X3FL and play it right away. Steam/GOG will install the necessary files from X3AP it requires. Note that - in case you were modding X3TC - both games use files from the X3TC main directory. Therefore it's best to start from a clean X3TC installation.

My favorite flavor is Vanilla. I wouldn't know where to start with Mods. Thanks for the info.
Is there a Bonus Add-on package for FL or is it already incorporated into the game ?

There's no bonus package for X3FL, but some of the scripts from previous BPs are included and for others there are alternatives already incorporated into the game.
