[X2] [kinda solved] Can't manually save game even while inside a station. Autosave still work as intended

Hi, I'm lost. I was playing the game just now but I can't manual save it anymore. If I load a previous saved game I can still save it manually, so my guess is that maybe this is some mechanic that I'm not understanding (?).

The last thing that I made before this bug appeared was to automate a SPP factory I have. So I placed a Mercury ship in it, made the SPP factory it's home and asked it to buy crystals at best price. I also set a command for the factory to transfer me credits, it had 150.000 credits and I asked to trasfer everything above 50.000, so now I have 100.000 with me and the 50.000 at the factory (which I assume will be used by the Mercury ship to buy the crystals I asked for).
When I opened the game today I was able to play for a little and save it just fine but then, after I did the steps above, I couldn't manually save the game anymore, even tho I'm inside a station.

Just to add more info because I don't know what could help you guys or not: I have no active side mission and the last story mission I completed was the one that sent me to The Goner Temple (so, the next story mission I have to do is the one at Brennan's Triumph, to investigate a broken gate). I also changed the player icon to a custom image and it's name from Jules to my own. Again, don't know what can be useful, so that's why I'm adding this even tho I don't think this have any relation with the bug because I was able to save a couple days before and I didn't progress in the story mission ever since (and also the change in icon and name was done way back).

If you guys want to skip ahead, in the first two minutes I'm showing the configurations that I typed in this post (the SPP factory, Mercury ship, auto tranfer credits and so on) and at the two minutes mark I get into a station and try to manually save the game (which I can't do) and also show that the automatic save still works.

Edit 1: Running it on Windows 10, GOG version, no mods.

Edit 2 (kinda of a solution): If I press "Shift + O" to go to the options menu and then select the "Savegame" option (or press "Shift + S", the command to savegame) I get the message "savegame only possible inside stations or with salvage insurance" even tho I'm inside a station, and the same will happen if I just press "Shift + S" without any menu tab open, but If instead of pressing "Shift + O" to go to the options menu I press "enter" to go to the station menu I can then go to the player tab, select options (which will lead me to the same tab as if I had pressed "Shift + O") and save the game.

If anyone reading this have any idea of why this happens, I would still appreciate it since I only discovered how to save the game but still have no idea on the reasons this happens.

TL;DR: you need to save the game through the station menu, by pressing "enter" while inside a station, and not through the options menu (Shift + O) or the savegame command (Shift + S).

This is a long shot but you mentioned "Also, sorry for the spinning ship, my controller was doing it's own thing". If a controller is sending continuous/intermittent unwanted inputs to the game then that can mess with all sorts of intended game commands. Just for elimination, try your sequence of inputs again but now with the controller unplugged, and see if the same issue situations occur.

Same thing. Still can't save if I go straight to the options menu with "Shift + O" (and then to the save screen) or if I go straight to the save screen with "Shift + S" but I can save if I go from the station menu ("enter") to the options menu and then to the save screen. Also, I don't need to manually choose those options, so with the station menu open, I can use the commands "Shift + O" and "Shift + S" to go to the next screens, so "enter" > "Shift + O" > "Shift + S" and "enter" > "Shift + S" both works and the problem only happens when I skip the station menu part.

Edit 1: Also, just reinstalled the game and started a new save file. Problem still persists.
