Seriously - the game code handles things differently when the player is watching, so if you weren't watching when it happened, then you can't watch.

Well gave it a few more tries and couldn't reproduce by not watching either, which has been my experience with the bug so far. I always load the last save when it happens as dealing with it is a damn hassle but so far it never has happened again immediately after a reload.

Thanks to a very helpful set of savegames, and some very lengthy testing with those saves, we finally have some good news on this issue. :)

Please consider adding more extensive logic for all situations when AI goes hostile. That'll make things easier to debug, even without savegames.
