CAG Won't refuell

Post by Pilgram »

CAG set to load max Taladium at my station unload at hub. Pilot is a Logistican
I have the jump set to yes
jump drive energy 1500
jump range 1
I loaded it up with energy and sent him on his way He uses the energy and jumps till jump fuel is gone then goes to running sector by sector each way doesn't stop for fuel.
What am I do wrong?

If I remember correctly, logistician is a CLS pilot level and not a CAG one. Also I think the fuel retention level is entered as number of jumps rather than number of e-cells and so 1,500 jumps seems rather high in e-cells and quite unnecessary to keep aboard for a 1 sector jump range trader (and assuming there is somewhere to buy them in 1 jump range). I could be wrong though as I'm not even sure which X3 game you are playing.

Yes, you're right. It has been a long, long time since I played X3.

Might as well help here, though it's been a few months. I remember there being an option in CLS to refuel the jump energy. You have to use that after you think the jump energy is gone. Add it as one of the steps where you're docked to your own station/complex and you should be good.
