A tense situation getting even more so.

While Tor gropes around in the dark, ThaStorna has both technical aids and added senses to help him along, even Ghaan appears to have some sort of extra sense. I'm thinking he may well give ThaStornla quite a bit more of a fight than one would realy expect, poor ole Tor seems well out matched, except for having ThaStornla on side that is. Some good reading Merc, Cheers.

Yeah, unfortunately I was set upon by relatives shortly after beginning typing and didn't get as much done as I hoped.

Yep, Tor is at a serious disadvantage but at least he has a slow firing bolt gun..

Does anyone else think Chalotta is a total idiot and needs to be 'spaced'? Here she just receives a message from the leader of the Mohrabas by a sentinel droid no less, and she doesn't read the attached message from Broden. You'd think she would attach a little bit of importance to it, seeing as it was delivered through the Mohrabas leader himself.

Great story Merc, let's get this Ghaan.

Great otherwise. Ghaans fleshing out nicely, hope something turns up for Tor.. just, will it be ThaStornla or the Sentinal.. and would the sentinal help anyway?? hm... need.. answers......

could do with a bit of fixing.. Sounds like a welsh-kuberickesque assasin

Nicely described action between Tor,Ghaan and ThaStornla, it was very easy to picture what was going on.

Ghaan may well be very ruthless, but he is still very cool, i'm sure i'd have been a lot less composed if something like ThaStornla had grabbed me like that in the dark, I guess it comes from being such a superior being

even missing a foot didn't seem to phase him much.

Now will they all reach a Mohraban ship before ThaStornla gets too sick to be helped?

Nice chapter Merc, nice end to the chase, no matter what Ghaan may have up his sleeve, he's definitly disadvantaged now, and looks very likely to get what he deserves, or something close.
