I do have 1 criticism. They did not put in any way to change your hairstyle or tattoos and so forth at all. Once you pick your cosmetics in the character creation, that's it. Seems kind of a dumb thing to leave out. I can understand not being able to change your height, skin tone, dong size (really lol). But not being able to shave or get a hair cut?

Managed to get it running a lot better, and thank god for an adjustable fps slider. By limiting fps to 55 I get no tearing, smooth gameplay, and lower my temps all at the same time (all games should have fps cap option *cough* x4 *cough*).
I have encountered a few bugs now though, floating npcs, disappearing npcs. I had a whole gang of guys shooting at me, I get out my car and turn around and they were gone - and the whole reason I was on that street is because I saw a lady doing yoga in the middle of the street, 4 feet above the ground - shes reached her true balance. I then saw a couple of npcs chatting, I walk down the street a little bit (not even half a block) while listening to their conversation, turn around and they are gone, but their conversation is still playing.
Game is good, and its going to be very very good in about a month ide say.

One thing that is really annoying me, a reviewer on steam put it correctly:-
You start working for Guy X, that job goes wrong, so you start working with Guy Y, then you get a job with Guy Z, who needs you to talk with Girl X so that you can get Object Q from Guy R... I was immediately lost as to who any of these people were and why I should care about any of them. Every mission I was like, "Wait, what am I doing? Who is this for?" The game grabs you by the arm and yanks you along without giving you any time to get your bearings. It piles mechanic after mechanic on top of you without giving you enough time to get the hang of them.
Coupled with the onslaught of visual and audio 'stuff' it makes for a immensely confusing and hectic experience. The audio and visual onslaught is of course intentional, this is a cyberpunk dystopia, its supposed to be seizure inducing to live in this city, but when that gets in the way of learning the ropes or even understanding the basic premise of a mission, its quite annoying. For example you can complete a stage of a quest, have 2 popups appear on the screen telling you tutorial hints, while your main npc friend is still talking to you, while your phone is ringing.... maybe women will be able to keep up with their multitasking :D
I may restart now just to try to see if I can keep up better now.
At one point you are put into VR to learn some combat, cutting out the city noise for a good 15 minutes in a dark cold silent room, and it felt like a vacation (and that chick is niiice), more of the tutorials should be like that.

The gameplay is really good and fun but I'm getting spaghetti performance. I can run either 1080p/low or 1440p/ultra and have near enough the same framerate and both are indentically unstable. I can be in a small room and one corner will drop to about 20 fps while another corner will be 60 fps.

Think I'm going to shelf it for a bit while it gets some updates so I can properly enjoy it.
This sı not ǝpısdn down.

Performance is all over the place, even for people with significantly better machines than mine. I expect the game will run much better a few months after launch, just as it was the case with Bannerlord.

Same, running smooth at about 40 fps with all settings on high. And yes, the graphic details are nothing short of breathtaking.

I don't know where I picked them up from, wasn't the main story mission, I do know that, but I got some legendary panties with 2 mod slots and pretty high armor stat compared to other gear of the same level. I'm guessing the gear in this game is gonna end up being a lot like the gear in the Witcher 3.

The old British Army issue long johns used to have button slots at the front and back. Saved a lot of time, I recall. They were pretty legendary too. :D

ok, it's not actually panties, though I wouldn't be surprised if there's battle thongs in this game. Sorry... habit I picked up from back in my WoW days.

Naw. I'm talking to folks and listening to what they say. I'm not finding it hard to follow. But I'm also not blasting through the main mission as quickly as I can. I've been doing a lot of side jobs and such too.

Seems to boil down to corporate politics and using people as fodder. Not very different from today.

I'm just foilowing the main mission but got stuck now (very frustrating), died for the 6th time ...

... you need to clear a shopping mall for the Voodoo clan. There are about 40 mobs, managed to kill all but 1 or 2 on the ground level. Problem is that one is operating a 40 cal mounted on the roof of a van, One shot and I'm dead. Grenades bounce off the van and explode on the ground. I can't get a clear line of sight to that guy without him shooting at me (means I die). Saveing during combat is not possible so I have to clear all again :-(
Guess I have to revert to an earlier saved game and get better gear, perks etc. before attempting this mission again.

I've not stolen the bio chip yet for the main story. But I have gotten my ass handed to me a few times. I've found that if I rush in guns blazing, I get wrecked pretty easily. But if I try to take the time to locate and mark hostiles, when possible, and try to use stealth take downs, I can succeed fairly easily. There's also some cyber implants you can get that aren't terribly expensive that will situationally slow time, like one specifically for aiming gives a 50% slow down for like 1.5 or 2.5 seconds with a 5 second cool down for only 1k eddies.

I went straight for LMGs / body + tech and mowing down every group so far. Learned during the story that stealth takedowns give you a real boost to street creds & thus quickly give you a lot of implant unlocks (which broadens your options even more). Right now I'm trying to stealth a bit more (especially if I'm on tour with buddies).

About eddies & implants - you can get ripper contacts which give you a discount. (situational / gig related). Saved ~10k for my leg implants that way :)

I'm shooting to get the OS implant with 6 hacker slots. That looks tasty. I've got some good hacks i wanna use more often but with only 2 slots it's a bit of a pain.

*edit
35k eddies and level 15 street cred later I has it!

oh geez lol. Seriously, though, I'm having way too much fun with this game. I'm even enjoying driving which is usually a chore in most games, and irl =p I bought a motor cycle and have been going nuts hitting 150+ on inner city streets on it. I ran into a barricade and it blew my bike up and sent me flying about 50 yards down the road
