Re: Trump
Well, it certainly has the potential to be significant. If the allegation is true, and it certainly seems plausible based on the timeline, Nunes was waist deep in the Russian driven narrative about Ukraine interference and would seem to implicate him as a co-conspirator. He may find himself in prison if this turns out to be true.

Re: Trump
In my community Trump got savaged for his support of so called red flag laws and stating taking guns was more important than due process. He deserved it too. He was completely wrong there. The bump stock ban was another thing he got smashed over. That was a purely symbolic piece of work meant to make people feel better. One other thing that I noticed was that he said some wrong things about the phones of dead terrorists being encrypted. I don't care if the FBI can't read them. It was wrong to try to compel Apple to crack those phones and it is wrong for government to try to mandate that manufacturers build phones with backdoors they can access.Vertigo 7 wrote: ↑Sat, 23. Prove me wrong, then. Show me you can review information and verify sources.
I've watched you do nothing but parrot Trump for the last several months, practically word for word in many cases. Not once have you even attempted to refute the daily onslaught of straight up bs that comes from his twitter account and helicopter rants. I can only surmise you've given up your own rights of identity to serve Trump. Do you have anything to show this isn't the case?
edit:
I tell you what, I'll make it easy for you. Can you tell me one thing Trump has done over the last 3 years that you took particular exception to? In turn I will find something he did that I can support.

It would be accurate to say that I don't agree with Trump on all things. My beef with him is minor compared to the things I agree with that he has done already. I voted for the man because of SCOTUS. I want the Constitution respected as it was written and with the intent of it's authors. I got that. It has been worth it.

I'm going to refrain from comment on the examples you pointed out other than to say you did as requested. I will fulfill my end.Masterbagger wrote: ↑Sun, 24. While I don't believe the efforts to tackle the opioid epidemic have been sufficient, I do acknowledge that Trump did make a large step towards combating this issue. Still, more needs to be done in the way of increasing funds for rehabilitation centers and federal prosecution of companies like Purdue Pharma and especially, the Sackler family. I hope to see more in these efforts.
Interesting you say this. 2 points...Masterbagger wrote: ↑Sun, 24. Nov 19, 03:32 It would be accurate to say that I don't agree with Trump on all things. 1 Could you not have gotten SCOTUS nominations from any other republican nominee?
2 Article 1, Section 9, Paragraph 7 of the Constitution states "No money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law"; IE Congress sets the federal budget and determines how money is spent. The WH can only submit requests for budget items or veto the legislation.
Trump first violated this article by falsely declaring a national emergency when his budget request wasn't approved by congress (both chambers were under republican control at the time as well) and threw his government shutdown temper tantrum trying to force congress to give him a new budget. And then again violated the constitution, by withholding military aid to Ukraine after all respective agencies provided certifications necessary for its release.
Was that respecting the constitution and its intent as written?

Re: Trump
There's kind of a sad ironic point to be made about the impeachment inquiry. The 'hearsay' defense that Trump and the house republicans keep yammering on about is a rather hypocritical stance to take considering the entire basis of the Ukrainian investigations are entirely based on hearsay to begin with.

It's pretty hilarious that the people that got their fans shouting lock her up at the drop of a hat, are now dancing around please don't lock us up! What a sad farce. Respecting the constitution they say, what a joke, those people don't respect anything, they're playing the Trumpians like a fiddle.

Nunes is facing an ethics probe for the allegation that he met with Shokin. Rudy Colludy has denied it happened, but said if he did, there would have been nothing wrong with it. Hits just keep on comin'.

The WH has apparently attempted to find a "legal justification" for the aid freeze to Ukraine after it was ordered to be held.
Also it's been reported that Parnas has turned over audio and video recordings to congress. No word on what the contents of the materials contain. I'm sure we'll find out soonish.

Trump is claiming Rudy Colludy wasn't in Ukraine at his direction. Also, Trump was briefed on the whistle blower report well before he told Sonland there was "No quid pro quo".

Re: Trump
The OMB is proving to be a treasure trove of evidence supporting the fact that Trump broke the law. Documents have been released to different Congress committees, there are smoking gun paper trails, at least two people resigned in protest at what they considered to be illegal behaviour etc etc etc.

Re: Trump
Just managed to get through (with a lot of effort and cringe) the entire live call on Fox and friends. Wow... it was just so surreal to realize that ranting nut is actually the president of a western "democracy". I'd dare any Trumpian to tell me that was a coherent well spoken respectable interview as one should expect and demand from a president, but i know better at this point. FFS the anger, the playground style insults the lies it's just mind boggling, he really is a demented fool of his meds ranting at the sun for beeing bright.
