1.0 + 1.1/ cannot press "ENTER" for menu or "R" for long distance scanning

I have some issues that started at a point in my game were the "Enter" button do not give anything for the menu you get in the top of the screen. It had worked in the game. I have a workaround by using mouse, and Microsoft sidewinder 2 joystick.

The second and much worse issue is I cannot use "R" for long distance scanning. When I go to the long distance scanning and press "R" nothing happens exactly as as the "Enter" in the menu. But here there is no workaround. I am making a let' s play on youtube.
I just tried to make a new game and it is the same.
IT happened on the same time with both "Enter" and "R".

As the key "Enter" are bound and cannot be changed it must be a game issue. The "R" key cannot even be seen and changed.

I also got a 3. issue with my ship continues to say it needs a pilot, even That I am the Pilot?

Update:

Reinstall do not fix this, even when removing C:\Users\"Username"\Documents\Egosoft\X4 I have both tried with both Manual installation and Galaxy. I cannot see what had happened as I made a total clean install all the way back to 1.00 and also tried updating it to 1.10. But it do not work. Please help to get this fixed.

Update 2:

I just discovered that I got a Boron quest (Really like the Boran). That I needed to make the long range scan. so I tried everything(all keys) And when I used "L" key it did make the wave and found the Boron "thing" saved right after so I do not know what is in it. So the "R" key is not working but somehow moved to the "L" key. So now I got all the information you need to fix this
The "RETURN" button for the menu is still not working and all keys has been tried. So you need to figure that out yourself.
