Flying stations was a feature implemented in version 1.2.3, as suggested by Swatti.

Enjoy.

I thought it was being included in LU 1.30 base, but it's not, so I'll upload it separately :)

Expect it in about 12hrs (Gotta get some sleep and pack it up!).

Is it much different from the ones that are part of the GUI Pack?

FLC works only for player's ships (all of them).
Lol ok so messing with those files all I be doing is altering the player loot drop rates / quantities.... righto... that's not what I wanted to do :-)

So may I ask what was changed then a few patches back when we were seeing 100's and 100's of loot from NPC kills scattered about ? but don't see that anymore ? .... Was that directly related to the E/I mix up and the Armageddon bug ?

If you could please answer that for me then I will shut up about this, Thanks for your patience !

The drop was lowered from 100%/100%(Chance/Amount) to 30%/30% which is further watered down by random chances further on in 1.3.2 - the absolute insanity loot you were seeing was because of the EI import insane shipcount coupled with the drop rates not correctly being set.

There's a fair bit of difference. I went over every icon in the main UI and the map UI and remade them in a complimentary style based upon Litcube's original.

Here's some screenshots of the different UI's in action:

I know I said I was going to shut up about this now, but you just trigged another question for me... That base 30%/30% is that the formula found at the bottom of the 8383-L044.xml file ? or is that the further watered down part you mentioned... if so where can I find that 30%/30% as I think that is maybe what I am actually looking for...

There is no externalized value for this formula its in LU's hard code modifications - you wont be able to change it, perhaps we can come up with a way to externalize it - ill think on it.

Edit: The value will be externalized in a future patch.

That's good news for me at least :) Thank you Jack08 much appreciated... And thank you also Joubarbe for all your help also mate.

Along with the help you guys provided in pointing me to the bailing formulas and now this I will be able to go back to my preferred play style of running a salvaging operation, I guess that comes with me having Irish Gypsy blood hahaha

Anyway thanks again guys.

@TrixX : very nice UI, I like how your icons are NOT aliased :)
Will you provide a link or will it be included in the next LU patch ?

I think Litcube has a GUI installer, however I think I'll put up download links for the different ones for the moment. I'll use my own thread though to prevent clutter in this one :)

Hi all. Need to check some station building facts quickly. I want to build a space fuel megaplex in a sector where local security won't pwn it. **PLEASE NOTE** I am not asking "where's the best sector to build one?", I'm asking how things work.

1. Will Goners mind if I build distilleries in their sectors?

2. My rep with the Yaki is currently -2. Will they attack me/my stations if I don't improve this rep?

3. Will Yaki mind distilleries in their sectors (assuming decent rep)?

4. I have a trading station in Argon Prime. Will bad things happen to me if I fill it with space fuel, or is freighter scanning and confiscation the only risk here?

Thanks in advance all. :)

I think you are expecting to win against the OCV waaaay too early in your game. As I understand it, the OCV is intended to be a late game challenge, undertaken with large combined armed fleets with supporting automated logistics and replacements.

I think that wanting to make the OCV easier to fight in your game is like wanting desert before you have finished dinner. Build up your assets and let the OCV remain the STRONG THREAT OF IMMINENT DOOM. There are plenty of smaller battles to take part in leading up to fighting the OCV, like missions and pirates. And Phanon!

Okay, I'm having a strange issue, and it very well may be that I'm just r*******, but I'll ask anyway. I have an MLCC Dock set up, with several M6s docked at it. They resupply Energy Cells just fine, but will never resupply missiles no matter what I do.

Possibly related, I've tried to manipulate the template manager to produce a template for these M6s that includes an entry in the "Missile Resupply" section, but I can't find where to actually set that. The closest thing I've found is the "Global Missile Resupply" list...and that doesn't actually work. Anyone got any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I'll take a shot at helping. Have you looked at your MLCC dock's dockware manager to set sources for missiles?

For the M6 template, be sure that the ship that you use for the template has missile resupply settings adjusted in its weapon loadout menu.
