[MOD] highway_altcontrol v1.04[2013-12-05] - variant tscwol
Greetings,
highway_altcontrol (v1.04)[2013-12-05]:
An alternative control inside the highways and superhighways.
The control is no longer based on jumping lanes in lane. Now you can move freely in the X and Y axis.
You can accelerate and decelerate with controls.
Although you can control the speed, the maximum speed can reach only the closer you are to the center of the highway. I mean, just attain the maximum speed you have the throttle at 100% and you are in the middle.
If chases with the inner wall of the highway you will slow until you take off. As you enter through the side, drops you right on the edge and if you stay there too long you made out again, because you are slowing down.
Also you can leave the highway completely braking or using WASD keys.

highway_altcontrol_tsc (v1.02)[2013-12-05]:
(total speed control)

Maximum speed 80%. To reach 100% speed you have to use the boost.
The duration of the boost is twice in highways and superhighways.

Hmm, good effort at doing something new with the highway controls.
Unfortunately for me, it's even more "mini-game'ish" than the original highway mini-games what with trying to keep my ship in the center lane to avoid it being thrown out of the highways altogether.
That's not to say that there won't be people that love this alternate, I'm sure there will be many that do enjoy this alternate method of using the highways.

And if i have the menu open i can´t use the controls an will drop out.

The only thing I seem to need to remember is that I can't break out of the highways just by steering out of them but must reduce my throttle to get out, if I could just steer out of the yellow highways without reducing throttle this would be the perfect local highways for me.

I'm using the tscnimewb mod and I think it may have ruined my game 
How do you ENTER a highway? I get to the highway tube and try and go in and it immediately bounces me out. I've tried going full speed at a perpendicular angle and it just shoots me right through the highway.
If I remove the mod my savegame won't load anymore
any help on getting IN a highway?

Please, make a list of all the mods you are using.
What kind of controllers uses? pad, mouse, keyboar, joystick, pedals...
If you enter through the gate highways. What happens?

If you want to remove a mod from a savegame:
1 - Go: C:\Users\[you]\Documents\Egosoft\X Rebirth\[numbers]\save
2 - Open the savegame with the notepad (backup first).
3 - Looking at the first lines this line: <patch extension="jbv01d" version="100" name="highway_altcontrol_tscnimewb"/>
4 - Delete the entire line and save de file.
