Highly doubtful, unless you have a substandard keyboard.Thunders wrote:Pressing AND holding a key combination for tens of minutes would eventually ruin the keyboard.
Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

Which begs the question, why was it removed in the first place?
Given the time it takes to repair something like a freighter in the Spacesuit, and since SETA repair is technically an exploit, making that the only way to repair a station would have to be considered one of the worst choices in the history of game design.
Since the option was available in X3R, the only reasonable explanation is that it was disabled to be replaced by a new TC feature. This would most likely be the way missions are offered in TC, as opposed to how they were offered in X3R, but there's also the possibility that Repair Drones, mentioned a number of times in-game, were intended for this purpose. Since there are no Repair Drones, and you can't hire someone via a mission, that leaves only one explanation that I can see - Someone forgot to add the mission into TC.
Sounds like something that should be added in the next patch.

Ya, this is why I modded my game to have a Repair Laser Factory available, it now means I can load-out my Tiger and a Heavy Dragon to repair ships and stations, for ships the Heavy Dragon will do, for factories, it takes the Tiger and the Heavy Dragon and it still takes some time. But being as you are Vanilla then good luck with that
