Yea ive seen the above frigate without most of its main hull, with only guns and few exterior weapon mounts and limbs being visible aswell.

When doing patrol missions early on..don't be afraid to let the sector patrols help out. I'm doing some in a TM class military transporter with no fighters, and a top speed of just 110..lol. Help is sometimes a good thing. And in regards to the different patrol missions and their spawn, I think that's intended, so you never really know whats coming. I like it this way, even though I got my butt kicked entering a sector or two..hehe.

Yea, I capped one of those. Was thinking how lucky I was and having all kinds of thoughts on how I was gonna kick butt in it, and then I found the hold half full of ghost wares. :cry:
ghost wares? whats that?
Not sure what their being called, but the ships hold is about half full of, well, nothing. The problem has been listed in the "known bug" section, so it may be fixed in the next patch.

It handles pretty well - 6.0rpm - that is faster than M6s and with excellent shielding and massive weapon energy banks that recharge very quickly - I do use it for battling anything up to M6 size but it has no front lasers however the left and right will fire almost forwards. - I could buy any ship up to an M7 now but I really prefer the Drake for the time being (I usually do trade missions anyhow)
6.0rpm. :o That's alot more agile than most M6s, you could probably run rings around them. If it had front weapons you could probably use it as a combat ship. Defiantly going to take a look at this one.

Hmmm... just a bit of a question... I see the old Valhalla M2 from Vanilla X3 does this mean the new Valhalla for XTC is actually a prototype ship? or is it called a different name :?

+Yaki M7 model shaders updated to X3TC shaders. (Should fix the issue some people have had with half of the ship visually missing.)

i just made enough rep to buy Drake. What lasers you guys using for it. Right now im using Skate Vanguard. Overall nice m3+. Turrets set to missle defence and those m8-s are no problemos. As for weapons i use 4+4 HEPT and IPG. Ions to strip shields and then HEPT for hull. For missle defence PAC seems to work just fine.

The HEPTS will go across nicely - I'd have some PBEs left in your cargo hold too for when you come across Khaak / fast scout ships

:lol: I accidentally went to New Hampshire and well... I faced a wall of red that gave me 1 minute to go back through the gate. I complied with that order hahahaha... but I have a small issue... it seems one of the Terran Vessels a lone Katana is dead set on trying to kill me... he's followed me all the way back to New Horizon. How do I shake this annoying M6 from my tail without killing him and getting a rep decrease.

take him into a pirret sector i asume you have a faster ship they will kill him no rep to lose that way or my personal faveret when chased buy many small ships that can kill you but cant catch you drag them into an atmospher frome a planet or sun but be warned you need a bigger ship or a ship with at least 1000 or so mor shield charge rait for this one, the higher sheild recharge is because you will have to go deeper in were it hurts more to get him to get killed because they tend to stay just out of damage range if they dont have to continue to close on thier target to kill you, did it to a pirret reaver in the xtm now called a something with a t just tricks i picked up that way they say he was stupid enough to follow him he deserved it dumb ass for doing that

by the way it is a long trip normaly to an atmospher so pack lunch and don't fly to far from him or he may just wait for u to come into sensor range

oh sate does not work in atmospher it your ship wil shack to but don't worry also when you hit 60 percent sheild in a strait dive turn around or u will take hull damage a do long slow desending divesusing straff to godeeper wile in the to amospher

Hmmmm... I haven't discovered any pirate sector yet. Like I said I'm back in New Horizon... question is... how many sectors away is a pirate system? Just need the direction I need to head in and I'll figure it out from there. I've so far managed to avoid all of his shots at me. I noticed him during a escort mission on my way back to the argon sector. I did the escort mission for Terran rep so ya know... :lol: the fight that ensued when several Xenon M5's jumped it was funny... had about 20 ships chasing them trying to kill them and here I had a Katana on my butt and I was trying to kill the Xenon as well. I was pretty much weaving in and out of shots from all the ships. I'm surprised I managed to survive that gauntlet :D

small ship right well thier is a bone head piret clan west of Patriarchs end or demise not exact on the name but it is in the top most split sector of my game they have heavy dragons and a cobra missile frigate they will kill him just bring him in range of the turrets
head strait north from the first split sector you enteryoul know when you get thier hopefully your gates will be active

Before I invest 45 bucks on version 1.1,can it be verified that this version is the final big download before version 2,I can live with version 1 and thankfully I didn't download 1.a . I will get pretty skinny before the end of the month if I download to many full versions :lol: although I can afford to loose a few pounds after doing the 12 days of Gluttony :D

getting a better flatrate is recommended there, imo :D

Can't say anything about patches before 2.0, but looking into the 1.1 features, there are no changes to missions and the missing possibility to train marines aside from piratestations is also not yet there - thus I think there will be additional patches before 2.0 ;)

yeah there will be other patches :) but those will be only patches, this 1.1 is a full download so we can be sure to get rid of the installer problem

@NS wait a few days and I will see that I zip you the changes seperatly :)
