The workaround is to un-assign any CAG freighters from the Missile/Shield/Weapon complex when you want to use the Product Configuration. Select the "Administration (CAG)" command, and it will activate the complex production menu instead.Mad_CatMk2 wrote:What's the workaround?VincentTH wrote:Saetan,
Lucike's XTC patch does not work somewhat:
In XTC< if you build a Missile Complex, the Missile Production command is in the Additional Command menu. However, when CAG is installed, it will occupy the same slot as the XTC's missile complex configuration command. THere is a workaround, however.

Required: X³: Terran Conflict Version 2.5 or newer (not compatible with X³: Reunion) !!
X-Tended: The modification X-Tended uses some command slots which where already used by Lucikes script collection. Aditionally X-Tendend modified an original script which Lucike already did modify too. So he made adjustments to keep compatibility between his collection and X-Tended: X-Tended Compliance Upgrade (English and German). To install this update, simply copy it into you X³:TC installation after you have installed X-Tended and Lucikes Script Collection.

No, they can not. Only the CLS.Khift wrote:Question: can Lucike's trader scripts (EST, CLS, CAG, Prospector) properly jump to and from sectors that are not connected to the gate network (such as Aldrin, the Kha'ak sectors, etc) or are they subject to the same limitations as the standard Egosoft 'Jump & Move' scripts where they cannot use those sectors due to being unable to find a path to it?
The patch works fine, but you need to install the newest CAG version.VincentTH wrote:Lucike's XTC patch does not work somewhat:

Thanks, I will re-install both the XTC, lib, and CAG (even though I believe I have the Dec version of CAG, from the CAG thread). I will now use the CAG version from the Lucike collection instead.
but I think the install order is important, as I see some conflicts between the library scripts and XTC itself. My install order is:
- Uninstall BP from vanilla X3TC install
- Copy the install to XTC directory
- Install Lucike lib, CAG and CLS2 (those are the only scripts I aminterested)
- Install XTC
- Install Lucike's XTC patch
[EDIT] Ic an confirm that it now works. CAG commands are at slots 4-5, and ConfigureProducts is at slot #6, using the above procedure.

I don't suppose we could have a translation added to the post listing all the various scripts could we? The versions in the script pack itself are in German and all the names on the third post are in English. It just makes it a little hard to figure out what we're installing.
And translators naturally don't work.

Re: [SCR/IDX] Lucikes Script Collection for X³: Terran Conflict [1st Jan. 2011]
All scripts which are packed in the collection are listed in the opening posting. The update postings only include the updated scripts since the last collection update. Or do you mean something else?

No, I mean the individual scripts. So we have:
Jump Beacon
English support
German support
That's all in English, but the names within the collection are all in German. What I'm asking is can you change it so it's like so:
Jump Beacon (English Name)
Springboje (German Name)
English support
German support
So we can tell what the various archives within the collection are.

Question
If we update a file from an older to a newer version do we have to REINSTALL the same Library file again?
For extended do we have to reinstall the Xtended Upgrade file again?
I installed the 31-12-10 version and you come out with a 1-1-11 (looks wierd) version...do I have to reinstall the library and Xtended files also.

Files of the same versions of a script/the library don't have to be re-installed of course. They already exist and are up to date.
The XTC compliance upgrade file contains language files of the different scripts and an modified original egosoft-script (contained in the library). If these files got overwritten by a newer version of a script, which is normally the case, the upgrade file has to be re-installed, yes.
As the language files can have changed in a new version of a script too, I suggest to re-download a new compliance update every time you re-install to surely get the most recent version of the files.
Or if you want to save bandwidth you may re-install the old compliance update on your harddrive, and re-download a new one only, if you see error's like "readtext" or command slot collisions.
